My one daughter wants to move out, she has a full time jobs and cant move out because the prices of rent are too high for her budget.
Been trying to help her so we know shes not lying and its beyond impossible in her case, and she doesn't even have any bills so its a real crap shoot.
My other daughter got married lives in cali and they live with his parents, it way too expensive.
Both work., have degrees
They couldn't even get approved for low income apartments, said they made tooo much money but cant get into something that's not low income.
Now they're trying to move back here because the cost of living is cheaper but cant find work here yet.
The illegals seem to make it happen with the government funds so the prices of rent are so high.
You're better off not having a job and getting gov. assistance so you can get the benefits of affordable housing.
I was able to buy a house way before covid and before the crash of 2008 so i was fortunate.
Now, i couldn't afford to sell my house and buy another place, i wouldn't survive so I have to stay where im at.
Its so fucked up out there and my situation is probably better than most.
