The video depicting Donald Trump as president until 2060 originates from a satirical meme created by the X user@CarpeDonktum in October 2018.

 

It was a doctored Time magazine animation showing Trump standing behind a re-election lawn sign, with the years on the sign increasing indefinitely, humorously suggesting he would remain president for thousands of years.@CarpeDonktum, who declined to provide his real name, described it as "clearly a joke" in a 2019 Newsweek interview, responding to concerns that it implied Trump would violate the two-term limit set by the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

 

Trump shared this video on his Twitter account in June 2019 and he also shared it yesterday, May 23, 2025.
