Both Justice Kavanaugh's and Secretary Bessent's would-be k*llers gathered everything they needed, traveled many miles to the respective destinations, and then called the authorities and turned themselves in before executing on their plans. Good outcomes but curious would-be criminal behavior.

Ryan English, from Massachusetts, was armed with a folding knife and two Molotov cocktails when he approached a Capitol police officer on Monday and surrendered, the criminal complaint said.

English allegedly told the officer that he was there to "kill Scott Bessent," who was confirmed by the Senate as President Donald Trump's treasury secretary on Monday."

"[In 2022, p]rosecutors say Roske traveled from California to the justice's home in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with the intent of killing Kavanaugh.
