Minerals deal: US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund officially launched

Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko has received a diplomatic note from Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Julie S. Davis, confirming the completion of internal procedures for the establishment of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Economy Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have an equal Agreement that reflects Ukraine’s national interests and provides for joint management and investment with the United States. It is a future-oriented agreement, where the United States and Ukraine are equal partners who jointly invest in the restoration and development of our country,” Svyrydenko noted.

Vandal at UCLA spray paints all over pro-life group’s signs

A vandal at UCLA spray painted all over signs set up on the quad meant to generate a debate about the pro-life cause, according to a video of the incident posted by the group.

The pro-life organization Justice For All was invited to UCLA by the school’s student pro-life club, LiveAction, to host an event “centered on promoting peaceful dialogue between pro-life and pro-choice people, and building common ground for dialogue,” a campus source told The College Fix.

Members of Justice For All recorded the incident and released video footage of it on social media on Thursday. It shows a black man wearing a “UCLA law” hat who appears to be in his 20s methodically spray paint over all their pro-life signs as those nearby peacefully ask him to stop.
