Media Questioning Trump's Health After Hiding Biden's Decline should be mocked 1/2

Brianna Lyman May 27, 2025

The new talking points from the left and their propaganda press corps has dropped: After five years of covering up President Joe Biden’s obvious and worsening mental and physical decline,it’s time to question President Donald Trump’s health.

Just days after Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper released their new book, Original Sin, which covers Biden’s cognitive decline and the massive cover-up (while ignoring their own involvement in the cover-up), the authors are now begging the American people to focus on Trump’s health.

Thompson said Sunday on MSNBC that there must be “investigating reporting” on Trump’s health.

“[Trump] was completely untransparent during the 2023-2024 campaign,” Thompson said. “He has not been transparent since, and there is no mechanism forcing him or any future president to be transparent about their health. He could be on anything. We really have no idea. So I think it’s a really vital question.”

“Donald Trump was older on his Inauguration Day than Joe Biden was on his,” Thompson continued. “Donald Trump’s health is completely fair game, and there should be incredibly investigative reporting on how it’s affecting his job as president.”

The comments echoed what Tapper said Thursday: “When it comes to the president, President Trump, while he appears healthy, he has not been transparent about his health records. And I think that’s something that the American people have a right to.”

Notice the difference? When Trump appears healthy, the press demands a deep dive. When Biden didn’t appear healthy, the press helped him cover it up.

Seen in Politico on Tuesday: “It’s easy to get numb to all this stuff: But if we’re going to (rightly) hammer much of the media for failing to cover Biden’s decline when it was hiding in plain sight, it’s probably also incumbent on us to keep on pointing out that weekends like this, in a different way, also unimaginably far from traditional presidential behavior. Equally, Trump has (very publicly) acted like this for years — and won reelection without softening his edges. And for plenty of his supporters, this bewildering, careening, no-holds-barred approach to the presidency is entirely the point. It’s certainly a spectacle.”

Translation: Yes, we lied about Biden, but that’s in the past. Let’s pivot back to Trump.

Taken together, the Tapper and Thompson tour — along with Politico’s spin —makes the agenda crystal clear. Original Sin and the subsequent coverage isn’t an exposé — it’s a pretext. This book and the discussion among the left-wing pressisn’t about confronting the truth and finding accountability. It’s about preserving the moral high ground just long enough to justify a renewed campaign against Trump.

>>23088888 5 eights what’s the meaning?

2/2

But they’ve already disqualified themselves as being trustworthy sources.

As I previously reported, “When Biden bafflingly tacked ‘God Save the Queen, man’ onto the end of a speech about gun violence,Thompson dismissed it as ‘possible’ sarcasm.”

“Biden’s weird phrases are sometimes weaponized by the GOP to insinuate the 80-year-old president is in mental decline,” Thompson said. “But Biden has been using these unique phrases for years — even as some of his aides remain confused by their meaning.”

Thompson also tried to dismiss the fact that Biden needed a document with “large print and photos that include his precise path to a podium” before an event by saying that “organizing presidential events … is intensive and detail focused for every commander-in-chief” and that these are “seemingly ordinary practices” that are “receiving fresh scrutiny.”

“Between the lines,” Thompson wrote, “Republicans have tried to highlight videos in which Biden sometimes appears unsure of where to walk on and off stage as a way to suggest he isn’t mentally fit for office.”

Weeks before the 2020 presidential election, Tapper accused Lara Trump of “mocking” Biden’s “stutter” when she dared question his mental fitness.

“I think you were mocking his stutter,” Tapper said. “I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline …”

Tapper also claimed in 2022 that Biden was “sharp … mentally.”

“I think the question is physically, right, more so? And the guy who is his chief opponent is only three our four years younger than him,” Tapper said.

But now they want to focus on Trump’s cognitive decline?

The press isn’t talking about Biden’s declinebecause they suddenly care about truth or accountability, it’s because they want to use that narrative to justify turning the scrutiny onto Trump. As expected, Original Sin is just ahalf-hearted mea culpa so that the left-wing propaganda press can reclaim just enough credibility to do what they always wanted to do: go after Trump.

https://thefederalist.com/2025/05/27/corporate-media-questioning-trumps-health-after-hiding-bidens-decline-should-be-mocked/

Tapper and Thompson should be arrested knowing the President was incompetent but they covered it up for money, knowing Bidan will never know about the book and to later turn it on Trump. The other main coverup was eliminating Obama, Clinton and Bush for running the WH. They were reported to be there quite a bit.So the real Shadow Presidents get off the hook. I wonder how much money they staffers were paid to gossip about all of this.

Harvard Strips Tenure From HBS Superstar Prof Francesca Gino 1/2

Francesca Gino has lost tenure protection at Harvard

For what many believe is the first time in its long history, Harvard University has stripped a one-time superstar professor at Harvard Business School of tenure.

The decision, announced in a closed-door meeting with business faculty this past week, officially puts to an end Gino’s lifetime employment protections at HBS. Tenure revocation represents the most severe discipline a university can impose.

For Gino, the university decision is a potentially career ending decision unless she can provide evidence that the data at issue was not intentionally falsified. Even if she is able to accomplish her innocence in her $25 million lawsuit against Harvard, this is a huge hit to her career and reputation.

It has been nearly two years since Harvard’s Office of the President notified Gino on July 28 of 2023 that it had begun the process of reviewing her tenure over allegations of research misconduct. The tenure review was initiated by HBS Dean Srikant Datar who by then had put Gino on an unpaid administrative leave, banned her from campus, revoked her named professorship, and prevented the professor from publishing on Harvard Business School platforms.

Gino’s loss of tenure represents the first time Harvard University has forcibly stripped a tenured faculty member’s position since the 1940s, when the American Association of University Professors formalized tenure rules. Tenured faculty have long been considered invincible. More often than not, professors who are under pressure from a university administration voluntarily surrender their tenure or simply retire.

ALLEGATIONS OF RESEARCH FRAUD SURFACED FOUR YEARS AGO

An award-winning behavioral scientist at Harvard Business School, Gino was first accused of fabricating data by Data Colada in July of 2021 when authors of the blog approached Harvard Business School with their allegations. According to her lawsuit, Dean Datar negotiated a secret agreement with Data Colada, putting off the publication of their posts until HBS had the opportunity to investigate the claims. After an 18-month-long investigation by a three-person committee of former and current HBS professors, the panel concluded that Gino was responsible for research misconduct. Dean Datar accepted the committee’s verdict and suggested punishment on June 13th of this year. Gino has maintained her innocence throughout, raising questions about the fairness of the process as well as the harshness of the penalties imposed on her.

Word of the school’s findings quickly leaked out. A mere three days later, in a June 16th article entitled A Weird Research-Misconduct Scandal About Dishonesty Just Got Weirder, the Chronicle of Higher Education reported that one of Gino’s co-authors claimed that Harvard found that one study contained even more fraudulent data than previously revealed and was now asking the journal to note this new information. It was quickly followed within 24 hours by more detailed reporting by Data Colada with the start of a four-part series examining data in four separate studies co-authored by Gino. “We wrote a report about four studies for which we had accumulated the strongest evidence of fraud,” the blog authors asserted. “We believe that many more Gino-authored papers contain fake data. Perhaps dozens.”

HBS Dean Datar sent an email to the school’s faculty on the Chronicle’s article. “Last Friday,” he wrote, “the Chronicle of Higher Education published an article describing concerns that have been raised about the research of a member of our faculty, Francesca Gino, as well as steps the School is taking with journals and co-authors to correct the scientific record. Other outlets are beginning to carry stories as well. While I know you may have questions, confidentiality is an important consideration in these matters. I realize this runs counter to our longstanding norms of transparency and communication but hope that you can appreciate and understand the reasons for this approach.”

TENURE REVOCATION CONFIRMED BY A UNIVERSITY SPOKESPERSON

Neither the university nor the business school made a public announcement of the move. It was first disclosed by GBH News and confirmed by a university spokesperson. Gino, who has vehemently denied that she did anything wrong, has not commented publicly on the decision. Previously, Gino has asserted that she has never “falsified data or engaged in research misconduct of any kind.” Her last LinkedIn post two weeks ago was a promotion of sorts for her book, Rebel Talent. A website, Francesca v Harvard, devoted to her lawsuit has not been recently updated.

Harvard has consistently declined public comment on the case, but after Gino filed her lawsuit, Dean Datar wrote another email to the faculty defending his decision to discipline Gino. ” I ultimately accepted the investigation committee’s recommended sanctions, which included immediately placing Professor Gino on administrative leave and correcting the scientific record (a measure incumbent on every responsible academic institution when research misconduct is found),” Datar wrote. “I did so after consulting confidentially with a small number of individuals at HBS and Harvard, including senior faculty members here at the School, as is permitted by our policy. The sanctions reflect a shared belief that the misconduct represented a significant violation of academic integrity and that the evidence not only met but surpassed the applicable preponderance of evidence standard. I shared my conclusions with Professor Gino and, in accordance with our policy and consistent with University practice, began implementing the institutional actions.”

Nonetheless, some faculty believed Datar’s treatment of Gino has been unusually harsh. At one point, seven tenured professors at Harvard Business School, remaining anonymous out of fear of retaliation by Dean Datar, say his handling of the Gino case has rocked their confidence in the school’s leadership. In a letter published in The Harvard Crimson, the professors accuse Dean Datar of violating the school’s norms of policy development by pushing through a new process to deal with professors accused of research misconduct without the knowledge or collaboration with the faculty. In fact, according to the professors, the new policy was in place for two years before ever being mentioned to faculty.

Obama world loses its shine in a changing, hurting Democratic Party

Obama White House and campaign alumni have been setting the course of the Democratic Party for years. After 2024, more Democrats want to see that change.Really long Hit piece

May 27, 2025, 5:00 AM EDT

After Kamala Harris entered the presidential race last year, she reached out to Barack Obama campaign alum Jim Messina to help lead her White House bid.

But when Messina shared news of the vice president’s offer with a friend, he received a stern warning.

“I said ‘Jim, if you get involved in this, it’ll be political suicide,’” Democratic megadonor John Morgan, a longtime Harris critic, recalled of his conversation with Messina, who had served in Obama’s White House and managed his successful 2012 re-election campaign. “You’re going to be a loser. And your whole shine is you’re undefeated.”

Messina declined the job. And after Harris’ loss to Donald Trump, it may not have been a bad move.

David Plouffe, long hailed as the brilliant architect of Obama’s 2008 victory, served in a key role in Harris’ campaign and is now among those tagged with a devastating defeat.

“The shine’s off Plouffe now. He was the golden boy,” Morgan said. “Now he’s just an old broken-down boy, who lost. Big.”

Messina did not comment on the exchange. Plouffe did not respond to a request for comment.

While many Democrats still admire Plouffe’s successes, the harsh words punctuated a growing sentiment across a party searching for a path forward: Team Obama’s bloom may be falling off the rose.

More Democrats are openly criticizing Obama strategists and consultants, who were long treated as the high priests of their party’s politics. Democratic National Committee officials at a news event last month blamed Obama’s lack of investment in state parties over his two terms for setting back local organizing, with the party still feeling the effects. The so-called Obama coalition of voters — less politically engaged voters, younger voters and voters of color — is no more. In 2024, each of those groups shifted toward Trumpin high numbers.

Going forward, it could mark a clean slate for a party whose course for nearly two decades cascaded from decisions Obama had made. It was Obama who chose Biden as his vice president, offering him the elevated perch that set up his 2020 election and his aborted 2024 re-election. Obama selected Hillary Clinton as his secretary of state, then anointed her for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 race against Trump. The operatives Obama and his top aides empowered have carved out leading, decision-making roles at the top of the Democratic Party since then.

But after 2024, more Democrats want to see that change.

Obama himself remains a force in the party, filling stadiums and commanding the attention of major donors. Indeed, the DNC is in talks with New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy to host Obama for a fundraiser at his home, according to two people with knowledge of the planning, which is still in its early stages.

But even the former president’s luster was showing signs of fading last fall, a phenomenon that threatens to persist as the next crop of young voters ages into adulthood. When the 2028 presidential election arrives, it will be 20 years since Obama’s first victory. At that point, more voters will have come of age in the era of Donald Trump than in the era of Obama.

“One of the challenges the Democratic Party does have is that there is nostalgia for the Obama era, both in terms of Barack Obama being in the White House and what that meant for the country and the style of leadership that we have, but also like the style of our politics,” Mike Nellis, a Democratic strategist, said. “There’s been a de-evolution of our politics over the last 10 years, and it’s just a very different era.”

Criticism flying within the party

Democrats point to myriad factors leading to Harris’ defeat in 2024 — with many focusing on a compressed timeline because Biden refused to step aside as the party’s candidate until 107 days before the election. Plouffe pointedly blamed Biden, saying “He totally f—ed us” in a newly released book.

Plouffe’s verbal affront opened him and fellow Obama alums to their own criticisms. DNC Finance Chair Chris Korge lashed out at Plouffe in an interview with NBC News last week, saying he and other Obama alums shared the blame, chiding them as the “so-called gurus.”

“It’s time to re-evaluate the use of consultants and bring in new forward-looking people,” Korge also said in the interview. “The old Obama playbook no longer works.” …
