The US president is not being briefed properly about the ongoing situation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said

US President Donald Trump is being misled about the Ukraine conflict by those pushing Washington toward supporting the Kiev regime and taking a more aggressive stance on Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Lavrov’s remark on Wednesday followed in response to Trump’s latest criticism of Moscow. The US president rebuked Russia twice this week over strikes on Ukraine, claiming that President Vladimir Putin had “gone absolutely crazy” and was launching “missiles and drones into cities in Ukraine for no reason whatsoever.” Trump later warned that the Russian leader was “playing with fire.”

Responding to a question from journalist Pavel Zarubin, Lavrov said: “One thing is clear – Donald Trump and those who actually make decisions regarding the Ukraine conflict in particular, are not being told everything.”

“The information he [Trump] is given is filtered through a sieve, which is prepared by those who want to draw America into more aggressive action against Russia, in support of the Kiev regime,” Lavrov added.

According to Russia's top diplomat, Moscow will try “to correct” the problem of information not reaching Trump.

Ukraine has drastically ramped up drone strikes deep into Russia in recent weeks in what Moscow says is an effort to derail the ongoing peace process. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, more than 2,300 Ukrainian drones have been intercepted over the past week, mostly away from the front line. On Wednesday, Ukraine also launched a drone raid on Moscow and its suburbs, with a total of 42 UAVs taken down. The assault resulted in damage to residential buildings but no casualties were reported.

In retaliation, Moscow carried out a series of high-precision strikes across Ukraine, targeting drone production sites, warehouses, airfields, radar stations and ammunition depots. Russian officials have consistently stated that such attacks never target civilians.

In recent days, Trump has increasingly criticized the Kremlin over what he perceives as a lack of progress in peace negotiations between Moscow and Kiev.

Last week, Trump and Putin held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the prospects of a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict. Both leaders characterized the call as productive.

On Wednesday Reuters is reporting that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), the controversial US-backed aid organization whose distribution sites are protected by American mercenaries, has suspended its operations in Gaza "due to disorder."

Gaza's Government Media Office announced in a statement, "We confirm that the 'Israeli' occupation's project to distribute aid in the so-called 'buffer zones' has failed miserably, according to field reports and according to what was announced by the Hebrew media as well." Israel has rejected the charge, instead blaming unruly Palestinian masses, Hamas, and criminal gangs who have long looted aid stores in the Strip.

"Thousands of starving people, besieged by the occupation and cut off from food and medicine for about 90 days, rushed toward those areas in a tragic and painful scene, which ended with the storming of distribution centers and the seizure of food," it added.

The very public fiasco and chaotic scene at one of the first distribution sites set up by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation outside Rafah on Tuesday was subject of international outrage and condemnation, including by the UN. The GHF has come under scrutiny for lack of experience and a firm track record.

As we had detailed the American security firm lost control of starving crowds and quickly withdrew from the area as the security situation rapidly broke down, resulting in Palestinians seizing the aid amid mayhem, soon after which Israeli aircraft swooped down to help clear the area.

Andrew and Tristan Tate Charged in Britain for Rape, Human Trafficking

American-British influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been charged by UK prosecutors with allegations of rape and other offences.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) revealed on Wednesday that it has charged the Tate brothers with 21 counts and issued a European Arrest Warrant in 2024 to order their extradition to face trial.

Andrew Tate, 38, is reportedly facing 10 charges, in relation to three women in the UK, including actual bodily harm, controlling prostitution for gain, human trafficking, and rape, according to Sky News.

His brother, Tristan Tate, 36, is reported to be facing 11 charges in relation to one woman in Britain, including actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and rape.

A CPS spokesman said: “We can confirm that we have authorised charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate for offences including rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and actual bodily harm against three women.

“These charging decisions followed receipt of a file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police.”

The British prosecutors said that criminal proceedings in Romania against the kickboxers-turned social media influencers must be completed before the Tates can be extradited to England.

“The Crown Prosecution Service reminds everyone that criminal proceedings are active, and the defendants have the right to a fair trial,” the spokesman said.

“It is extremely important that there be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”

Earlier this year, Romania lifted its travel ban on the Tate brothers, after having been restricted from leaving the country since their initial arrest in 2022. They face accusations of rape and human traficking, however, such allegations have yet to be brought to trial.

The pair have denied all allegations, claiming that they are politically motivated due to their influence, particularly among young men in the West.

Andrew Tate also faces a civil suit brought forward by four women in the UK, accusing him of sexual and physical abuse. Three of the four women had previously accused him of rape in 2014-15. However, the Crown Prosecution Service decided in 2019 not to prosecute.

EU Opens Investigation of Pornhub over Alleged Failure to Protect Minors

The EU is investigating Pornhub and other pornography platforms for allegedly failing to protect minors from online sexual content under the Digital Services Act (DSA).

The European Commission “has opened formal proceedings against Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX, and XVideos for suspected breaches of the DSA,” and aims “to ensure a safer environment online for minors,” the EU executive announced this week.

The investigation will focus on the pornography platforms’ “absence of effective age verification measures,” among other things.

The European Commission says it has “preliminarily found” that the porn platforms do not comply with having established “Appropriate and proportionate measures to ensure a high level of privacy” and “safety and security for minors” involving age verification tools.

It also accuses the pornographic platforms of failing to put in place “Risk assessment and mitigation measures of any negative effects on the rights of the child, the mental and physical well-being of users, and to prevent minors from accessing adult content, notably via appropriate age verification tools.”

“Online platforms must ensure that the rights and best interests of children are central to the design and functioning of their services. If proven, failure to comply with these requirements would constitute infringements of the DSA,” the European Commission said.

Violation of the DSA can result in a fine of up to six percent of the company’s annual global turnover, according to a report by Politico.

Meanwhile, there exists no time limit under which an EU investigation must conclude, and the probes may also increase in scope.

The Commission also announced it is terminating the designation of Stripchat as a “Very Large Online Platform,” which refers to online platforms with over 45 million monthly active users in the EU.

This comes after an assessment that “concluded that Stripchat’s number of average monthly active recipients in the EU had been lower than the relevant threshold for an uninterrupted period of one year,” the European Commission said.

In the meantime, national authorities in Europe will work together to oversee smaller porn platforms’ compliance with EU law under the Digital Services Board, the European Commission added.

In the framework of a petition to the High Court of Justice by the ITIM religious services organization against Cohen’s actions in that incident, the Chief Rabbinate admitted to having acted improperly.

The Israeli Navy deployed in recent weeks for the first time unmanned vessels, also known as drone boats, in Israel’s exclusive economic zone, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on May 27.

“The vessels have the capability to construct a broad maritime picture and are engaged in monitoring and characterizing the movement of vessels within the exclusive economic zone,” the IDF said in a statement.

“The information derived from the vessels is collected, documented, and used by the IDF for threat analysis and force deployment in the maritime theater and in the mission of protecting the strategic assets of the State of Israel,” it added.

A photo released by the IDF alongside the statement showed what appears to be a Voyager drone boat made by the United States-based Saildrone.

The Voyager, which is 10-meter long, is powered by wind and solar energy, allowing months-long operations without needing an onboard crew.

The drone is designed for maritime security tasks and nearshore ocean mapping, featuring a multibeam sonar system that can map the seafloor down to 300 meters. It is also equipped with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance packages, including an electro-optical system, a maritime radar, and passive underwater acoustic sensors.

Interestingly, Voyager’s data link system is built around a Starlink satellite internet terminal. This means that the drone boat can be operated from very much anywhere in the world.

There were no reports of Saildrone exporting the Voyager to Israel. Nevertheless, the U.S. The Navy deployed such drone boats off the shores of Israel and neighboring Lebanon, as well as the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf in the past to counter weapons traffickers.

These drone boats will help the IDF keep a close eye on Israeli waters, in addition to shores of neighboring Lebanon and Syria.

Two main organisers identified

In June 2024, the French authorities seized 216 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and arrested two French nationals in connection with the case. The subsequent criminal investigation revealed a criminal network involved in the production and trafficking of synthetic drugs with strong ties to the Mexican Sinaloa cartel as well as to criminal gangs active in Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands and New Zealand.

The two main organisers of the network relied heavily on the logistical support, expertise and preparation provided by the Mexican cartels. In turn, these cartels depended on local intermediaries to anchor their operations and expand their influence. This interdependence underscores the transnational nature of the network and the cooperation between criminal actors across continents.

Investigators established that the chemicals used in the production of the synthetic drugs had been sourced from China. The pieces of evidence collected during the probe led to the identification of the main organisers, one Algerian and one French national. The two suspects are allegedly responsible for the whole production and dissemination chain including the smuggling of pre-precursors, setting up the lab, “cooking” of the drugs and their subsequent trafficking. They used cryptocurrency to facilitate the illegal financial transactions.

The action day on 19 May led to:

16 arrests (1 Belgian, 13 French, 1 Serbian and 1 Mexican/American), 15 in France and 1 in Belgium;

16 house searches;

Seizures including 3 vehicles and luxury goods valued at about EUR 100 000, almost EUR 80 000 in bank accounts, phones and other electronics, and about EUR 10 000 in cash.

In addition, some EUR 30 000 in cryptocurrency has been frozen. That part of the investigation is still ongoing with further seizures expected down the line.

Mark Levin Compares Trump’s Talks With Iran to Appeasement of Hitler

Fox News host Mark Levin compared President Donald Trump’s ongoing talks with Iran to the appeasement of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler ahead of the Second World War on Monday.

In a Memorial Day rant, Levin wrote:

On Memorial Day, as we should every day, we remember the great heroes who gave their lives for our country, our freedom, and our security. Please take a few minutes out of your day, in a moment of silent prayer, to tell them how grateful we are to them and their families. May God bless each and every one of them.

I would add that it is imperative that those of us who’ve benefited from their ultimate sacrifice do what we can to ensure that our country remains free and strong by standing on their shoulders, speaking out, defending our constitution, and rejecting those who seek the destruction of our nation from within. We must also reject agreements with foreign regimes and groups that seek our destruction and endanger the very existence of our nation and future generations of Americans. Appeasement and self-delusion have cost our nation hundreds of thousands of young lives in wars we hoped to avoid, especially in the last century in the lead up to WWII. Today, with the proliferation of nuclear weapons in the hands of communist and fascist regimes, and their pursuit by Islamist death cults, requires our eyes to be wider open than ever, and our decisions in the face of these threats to be wise and courageous.

Despite being appointed by Trump to serve on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, Levin has repeatedly criticized the president in recent months.

Just this month, Levin criticized Trump’s tour of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, branding them “terrorist” states, and accused Trump of making arguments “used by the Soros-Koch isolationist crowd about neocons and interventionists.”

Levin also attacked Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, suggesting he was anti-Semitic for using the word “neocon.”

In March, Levin condemned the Trump administration for “negotiating directly with the vilest subhuman terrorists, the Hamas Nazis,” and “publicly demeaning Israel’s leadership,” while in February, he diverged from Trump by defending Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and America’s support for Ukraine.
