The Meme War General: Douglass Mackey and his online army changed the game…May 29, 2025 (3 hours ago)

Before most people even knew what a meme was, Douglass Mackey had already turned it into a weapon. Not just any weapon, a political nuclear bomb.

Back in 2016, while Hillary Clinton was polishing her glass ceiling victory speech and the media was choreographing Trump’s funeral, something totally unexpected was happening online. A new breed of dissident Americans, mostly sharp, clever, pissed-off young men, began using memes to wage information warfare against the political establishment. It was funny. It was irreverent. It was creative. And it was devastatingly effective. Just ask Hillary…It became known as the Great Meme War.

And leading that charge was a guy known online as “Ricky Vaughn.” Today, we know him as Douglass Mackey, a husband, father, and fighter who was steamrolled by the Biden regime in the early days of lawfare. But we’ll get to that part soon.

With nothing but a laptop, a few savage jokes, and an arsenal of dank memes, Mackey trolled the left into absolute hysteria. He mocked media elites, exposed political phonies, and rallied an army of meme warriors who turned ridicule into revolution. And make no mistake, those memes mattered. So much so that many believe they actually helped swing the 2016 election and rewrote the political playbook forever. So what happened next? Well, they came for Doug.

Mackey was arrested, tried, and convicted in one of the first major lawfare trials of the Biden regime, a test run for the legal warfare later used against President Trump himself. What was Doug’s so-called “crime?” Posting a satirical anti-Hillary meme.

Doug was sentenced to federal prison for sharing a meme. This actually happened in the United States of America. The good news is that Doug’s not backing down. He’s appealing the sham conviction and is ready to take this fight all the way to the Supreme Court. But he can’t do it alone. Taking on the Deep State isn’t easy or cheap, especially for a young husband and father.

We encourage you to read one of our most popular deep dives on the Mackey case, and if you can, chip in to support his legal fight by clicking here.

Now, with the Dems’ crash and burn in 2024, Mackey is back and calling out the system that tried so hard to destroy him. In a recent segment on OANN, Mackey dropped a truth bomb about the “Russia Collusion” scam and warned that the establishment is gearing up to run the same playbook all over again.

He said flat-out what we all know: “The Russia Collusion thing is a meme. It’s a hoax… It all originated with the Russia Hoax. 100 percent.”And he issued a warning: if nobody is held accountable, they’ll do it again… and this time, they’ll go harder.

OANN:MACKEY CLAIMS THE RUSSIA COLLUSION NARRATIVE WAS A MEME…A HOAX – WARNS THAT THEY WILL TRY TO DO IT AGAIN

Author of “Douglass Mackey’s Newsletter” @DougMackeyCase, tells @VishBurra that “the Russia Collusion thing is a meme. It’s a hoax…It all originated with the Russia Hoax. 100%. And they need to go down for it or else they’re going to try this thing all over again in the next couple of years.”

Following the segment, Doug shared the meme war monologue by Vish Bura that highlighted the lasting power of political mockery. Because nothing rattles the system like sharp satire, viral memes, and a generation that refuses to bow.

Douglass Mackey: Great monologue on the @mattgaetz show with @VishBurra — and I was honored to make an appearance. “The 2016 Presidential campaign in the United States is often referred to as the “Great Meme War. Coming off the heels of the GamerGate Scandal, a new contingent of recently “redpilled” Americans, mostly young men, decided to use comedy and creativity to wage information warfare against the Clinton campaign and the establishment at large. Many people say this directly contributed to President Trump’s victory later that year.” “Mackey, with his Ricky Vaughn account, got under the skin of the establishment schoolmarms like no other.”

There’s definitely more to come, but one thing’s for sure: the meme war never ended.

Three female cops botch a ‘surprise raid’–because they can’t open the door… May 29, 2025 (2 hours ago) 1/2

At this point, these inept “lady cop” videos are practically a daily occurrence. Another viral video, another news story, another scene straight out of a sitcom, except it’s not scripted and nobody’s laughing for the right reasons. It’s just more proof of a fact many people refuse to admit: most women simply aren’t cut out for the brutal demands of frontline police work. And that’s not a dig; it’s biology.

Men and women are different. That used to be a common sense statement before it became a hate crime. The average woman isn’t wired for violent confrontation, tactical raids, or the split-second decision-making that life-or-death situations demand. And that’s perfectly fine, just like most men aren’t built for deeply nurturing, emotionally intensive caregiving roles.

But instead of embracing those differences and building a stronger society around complementary roles, we’re watching the system collapse under the weight of forced equity… and nobody suffers more than the women being shoved into roles they’re not equipped to handle. They’re being set up to fail. And boy, are they failing.

We’ve covered a lot of these unfortunate stories.

Revolver: If you ever find yourself needing to dial 911, you’d better hope and pray that you don’t get one of the many female “Keystone Cops” now prevalent in police stations across the US and beyond. In these women’s misguided quest to prove they can do anything men can (which they often cannot), criminals are slipping through the cracks, resulting in injuries, and in this latest case, male bystanders are having to step in to help these female officers apprehend criminals.

As comical as this story might seem, there’s a seriously dangerous element at play. And speaking of those dangers, not many people are discussing a recent story about a German cop who was stabbed while the female officers just stood by, seemingly unsure of what to do. One of the female cops even got scared and ran away. Are these really the kind of “warriors” you’d want in your foxhole?

Daily Mail: Shocking new footage of a German stabbing attack has revealed why a cop tackled a have-a-go hero while he tried to subdue the knifeman, with Mannheim locals claiming they no longer feel safe in their city after the ‘nightmare’ rampage.

The 25-year-old attacker, identified by local media as Sulaiman A., went on a stabbing spree yesterday morning and knifed well-known Islam critic Michael Stuerzenberger, a police officer and several bystanders in the city centre.

• In a chaotic new video from the incident, a scramble of people can be seen embroiled in a punch-up next to signs advertising an anti-Israel protest.

• The group can be seen tackling each other to the ground while one man in a blue coat takes multiple swings at another person on the floor.

• After throwing a series of overarm punches, at least two cops are spotted lunging towards the man donning the bright coat until he is knocked to the ground.

• Officers seemingly tackled the man believing he was the assailant after seeing him beating up the other individual who was already floored.

• Following the horror attack, locals in Mannheim have said that they now feel unsafe following the ‘nightmare’ knife attack which left a police officer in a coma and several others injured.

• Sadly, every time you turn around, there’s another one of these disturbing stories, raising serious questions about whether women are truly suited for these extremely high-stress, high-stakes jobs.

Revolver:We regret to inform you that yet another female cop DEI hire who accidentally shot someone has made the news. While this isn’t a new story, it’s getting fresh attention after an appeals court handed down a decision this former police officer won’t be happy about.

The DEI officer, a female who had no business wearing a badge, shot a man in the back during a traffic stop. Without a bodycam or dash cam in her cruiser, she did what any good little lady would do—she lied to cover up her mistake. After all, who’s the public more likely to believe? The female cop or the lowly peasant?

DEI cop Kasha Domingue shot Mr. Dilley in the back as he ran away during that routine traffic stop. Prosecutors revealed she never even attempted to render aid, leaving Dilley to wait nearly eight minutes until another officer finally arrived.

Rinse and repeat.

And speaking of that, take this latest embarrassment from the UK, where three female officers are caught on camera attempting to breach a door during a raid. All that’s missing is the zany “Benny Hill” theme song. Their efforts are not just ineffective; they literally look like a parody. Some comedic cop dinner theater group.

And to make matters even more ridiculous, the most capable person in the scene, a man, of course, is just standing there awkwardly, probably biting his tongue for fear of being branded a sexist if he steps in to do the job properly.

Watch:

Yes, obviously the video is funny until you realize it’s deadly serious.Because this isn’t about one bad raid. It’s about a cultural obsession with pretending men and women are totally and completely interchangeable, even when lives are on the line.

Donald Trump Pardons Rapper NBA YoungBoy

Published May 28, 2025 at 7:24 PM EDT

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump pardoned rapper Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, known as NBA YoungBoy, the White House confirmed to Newsweek via email.

Rising to fame in the mid-2010s, the Louisiana native has been arrested multiple times since 2014, with charges ranging from robbery and attempted murder to drug and firearm offenses.

NBA YoungBoy's Remarks After Trump's Pardon

In a statement posted to social media, the rapper said, "I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building - as a man, as a father, and as an artist. "This moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I've worked hard for and I am fully prepared to step into this."

He also thanked Trump's "Pardon Czar," Alice Johnson.

YoungBoy continued,"Big thanks to the Pardon Czar, Ms. Alice Marie Johnson, for fighting for second chances for so many people, and to my lawyer, Brittany K. Barnett, for being in my corner and all your hard work to make this possible. And thank you to everyone who believed in me." Kentrell Gaulden, also known as NBA YoungBoy, arrives for a hearing in 1st District Court, on May 9, 2024, in Logan, Utah. ASSOCIATED PRESS

What to Know

From Baton Rouge, Louisiana, YoungBoy is a prominent American rapper known for his emotionally raw music and relentless output. Rising to fame with mixtapes like 38 Baby and AI YoungBoy, he quickly gained a loyal following for his confessional style and gritty portrayal of street life.

Despite limited mainstream media presence, his projects frequently top the charts, and he boasts billions of views on YouTube. He has 16.3 million monthly Spotify listeners with more than 15 billion total streams on the 681 songs in which he appears. In 2024, while under house arrest in Utah, the rapper was arrested for allegedly running a prescription drug fraud ring out of his multimillion-dollar home.

He faced 63 charges, including identity fraud and forgery. An extensive plea agreement resulted in a 23-month federal prison sentence, a $25,000 fine, and five years of supervised probation following his release.

With credit for time served, he was released in April and transferred to a halfway house in Phoenix, Arizona, to complete the remainder of his sentence under supervision. He served 11 months of his 23-month sentence.

His decade-long history of arrests has not seemed to slow his productivity as YoungBoy has released numerous albums and mixtapes while incarcerated or under legal restrictions.

The White House didn't explain why Trump pardoned the rapper. The pardon forgives YoungBoy's federal crimes, though it does not erase any convictions from the record or imply innocence.

Trump's move to pardon YoungBoy comes amid a flurry of pardons for convicted Americans, mostly for those he feels fell victim to a politicized and weaponized justice system.

It was also announced on Wednesday that the president commuted the sentence of former Chicago gang leader Larry Hoover, who had been serving a life sentence at a supermax prison in Colorado. Hoover's son, Larry Hoover Jr., has been outspoken about his father's time in jail, and was featured in the rapper Kanye West's 2021 song "Jesus Lord." The artist now known as Ye and Drake then held a concert calling for Hoover's release.

Ye also spoke to Trump in the Oval Office during his first term in 2018, advocating for Hoover's work while in prison.

What People Are Saying

Conservative commentator George Behizy posted on X, formerly Twitter, "I'm not necessarily supportive of pardoning thugs like YoungBoy, but he should now live like a normal, law-abiding human. His music should be wholesome. No more rapping about 'ops' and 'gangs.'"

In a separate post, Behizy said, "We don't have to pardon rappers and gang leaders. We can pardon real heroes who deserve it. Pardon Snowden. Pardon Assange."

Political analyst Dominic Michael Trippi wrote on X, "NBA Youngboy pardon before the Epstein files. Unserious and ridiculous."

What Happens Next

The rapper's upcoming 27-city concert run, which begins on September 2 in Dallas,is called the Make America Smile Again (MASA) Tour in an apparent homage to Trump.

==Grandson of 10th US President John Tyler, who left the White House 180 years ago, dead at 96

By Anthony Blair Published May 28, 2025, 4:36 p.m. ET

The grandson of the 10th President of the United States, John Tyler, has died at 96 — 180 years after his grandfather was last in the White House.

Harrison Ruffin Tyler, the son of President Tyler’s 13th child, Lyon Gardiner Tyler, died on Sunday evening at a Virginia nursing home, ending the last living link to an 18th-century presidential administration.

When he was born on Nov. 9, 1928, his father was 75 years old.Harrison Ruffin Tyler, the last living grandson of President John Tyler, has died at 96.Having children into old age was a family trait, as President Tyler was 63 when Lyon was born.

President Tyler would go on to have two more children before he died in 1862 age 71. Born into a prominent slaveholding Virginia family in 1790, John Tyler served as President William Henry Harrison’s vice president on the Whig ticket in 1840.

He became president after Harrison died just 31 days into his term. While in office, Tyler was a believer in manifest destiny, and signed a bill offering Texas statehood shortly before leaving office.

But he fell out with the Whig Party, who chose not to nominate him for reelection, instead opting for Henry Clay, who lost to the Democrat James K. Polk.Tyler, the 10th US President, was born in 1790and served one term in the White House between 1841 and 1845.

He fathered more children than any other American president, including eight with his first wife, Letitia Christian, and seven with his second, Julia Gardiner, whom he married in 1844 — two years after Letitia died of a stroke.

Harrison Ruffin Tyler was a feature of curiosity from a young age due to his ties to America’s past.At age 8, he was invited to the White House to meet FDR, and Lady Nancy Astorpaid his $5,000 tuition fees at William & Mary College even though the two had never met.

President Tyler was 63 when his wife gave birth to Harrison’s father, Lyon Gardiner Tyler. He also had a historic lineage on the side of his mother, Susan Ruffin Tyler, andwas a direct descendant of Pocahontas.

But despite that, he grew up poor during the Great Depression and, after graduating, he continued his education at Virginia Tech due to a lack of employment opportunities.

In 1968, he founded the industrial water treatment company ChemTreat with his business partner William P Simmons, serving top clients such as Kraft and Philip Morris.

In 1975, he bought his grandfather’s former home, Sherwood Forest Plantation, from relatives and restored it along with his wife, Francis Payne Bouknight Tylor. The property is now open to the public and operated by a foundation.

It boasts not only “the longest frame house in America” but is also home to a ghost known as the Gray Lady, who visitors claim to have heard for over 200 years.

Harrison had been living in a Virginia nursing home when he died on Sunday. (He has a picture of Ronald Reagan and Nancy behind him.) In 1996, Tyler bought and financed the preservation of Fort Pocahontas, a Civil War-era earthwork close to Sherwood Forest built by black Union soldiers.

In 2001,he donated thousands of papers and books, along with $5 million of his own money, to William & Mary’s history department, which was renamed in his honor in 2021, The Richmonder reported.

Tyler’s wife died in 2019, and he had been living in a nursing home in Richmond at the time of his death. He is survived by three children and numerous grandchildren.

Harvard president Alan Garber jabs at Trump’s international student crackdown during graduation ceremony remarks

By Chris NesiPublished May 29, 2025, 3:32 p.m. ET

Harvard University president Alan Garber jabbed at the Trump administration’s crackdown on international student enrollment during his remarks at the Ivy League school’s graduation ceremony.

“Members of the Class of 2025, from down the street, across the country and around the world … just as it should be,” he said.

Garber received a one-minute standing ovation at the start of his address, in large part due to his calling for universities to stand “firm” against the Trump administration, which has waged war against Ivy League schools including Harvard and Columbia in recent months.

Garber, who became president of the elite school last August, told graduates they should be willing to “expand our thinking and change our minds in the process.” And saidhis hope is that they “stay comfortable being uncomfortable.”

That same morning, in a Boston federal court just six miles from the commencement, District Court Judge Allison Burroughs dealt a blow to the Trump administration, slapping a temporary injunction on its plans to restrict the admittance of foreign students or those on a visa.

“I want to maintain the status quo,” Burroughs said from the bench.

“It doesn’t need to be draconian, but I want to make sure it’s worded in such a way that nothing changes,”she said, with Harvard’s lead attorney Ian Gershengorn telling the judge he doesn’t want any “shenanigans” to take place once the order is set.

The Trump administration filed a legal notice before the hearing commenced giving Harvard 30 days to make its case to remain a part of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.

(I love that these assholes are being publicly rebellious and insulting to the President. And the judge admitted she didn’t apply the law, she just wants to “maintain the status quo”, where is the legal argument for that decision.Harvard and others, keep on breaking the law by using courts that have no jurisdiction of these matters, the boomerang always comes back!)

Appeals court slams brakes on sweeping order that blocked most Trump tariffs

By Samuel Chamberlain, Taylor Herzlich and Diana Glebova

Updated May 29, 2025, 4:05 p.m. ET

A federal appeals court put the brakes Thursday on a lower court order that overturned most of President Trump’s sweeping tariffs.

A full 11-judge panel on the US Court of Appealsfor the federal circuit stayed the order by the Manhattan-based Court of International Trade while the White House appeal is heard.

The Court of International Trade had ruled that Trump exceeded his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act by imposing a 10% flat duty rate on dozens of countries around the world — as well as 25% tariffs on Canada and 20% tariffs on China and Mexico in response to illegal fentanyl trafficking.

The tariffs had been challenged by a dozen states and five small businesses — which the appeals panel gave until June 5 to respond to Thursday’s stay.

This is a breaking story. Please check back for more information.
