Hamptonsfag here..

Just catching up on notables and saw the Martha's vineyard info.. I have been coming out to the south fork since I was 1 year old and grew up as a young person / teenager in the summers in this environment. I always thought it was weird (as I am from a farm area during the rest of the year in the centre of the continent). I didnt think of it as pedo stuff until my eyes were opened with pizzagate and I started to think back to memories.

  1. when I was 6 years old, my father was approached by a man who was VERY interested in getting me into modelling. My dad had a super creepo vibe from him, and said no. The gentleman pressed and pressed trying to get our contact information, but my father insisted they were not interested in me modelling (thank you Dad!!).

  1. I was here when Mimi had her panic attack and ran away from Mottola's house.. she was convinced he was going to kill her. They hushed it up and said she was drunk.

  1. I have seen some young heart throb stars pursue and take out some friends. The stories never ended up well and no one was ever well adjusted. This was early 90s.

  1. I once witness Rob Lowe try to run away from someone, and hide in the shop I was working in.

  1. I had a gentleman come into the shop I was working in, and try to convince me that I should fly to mexico with him and he wanted to paint my portrait. He would come back each week and ask again. This was a complete stranger. Eventually he did convince some other girls to take to Mexico. I don't know what happened to them. I was about 19 at the time.

  1. I had a guy who was in his 50s, come in the shop I was working in, who was friends with the dad from the brady bunch (he kept telling me that) and that he was "just on CNN" try to get me to leave work and go with him. I was also 19/20 at the time. I refused and he was shocked.

  1. I worked in an ice cream parlor in the 90s in the Hamptons (wont say which one) and I always thought it was so odd that ice cream was so popular (regularly had lines outside the shop until late at night). People with lots of kids would come in at 10 and 11pm.. and get icecream and I just thought it was odd there were so many kids, so late at night. Now I wonder. Some people would come in with 8 kids and I thought "oh they must be babysitting for friends".. but now I am not sure. Very strange. We sold icecream until 12 or 1am regularly

Needless to say the culture of the "elite" is nothing like ours. I have been here and watched their culture through these years and know they think nothing like the regular man does. I dont know if anything I said above is exactly notable except in the sense that they do have their own world, there are lots of kids, and they do seem to approach people to try to go with them places.. offers that would never happen in normal circumstance.

I always wondered if I made mistakes saying no to these offers through my life, as I just ended up a "normal person" and I thought maybe I missed out on something.. but now I know what I do know.. I know it was just a gut feeling to avoid something that was probably terrible.

There is not a lot to the story except he came running in, hid behind the display, went back on the street to see if the person who was pursuing him was still there, came back in, hid again. Then after a few minutes bought something.. i think just to make it less "odd"? He tipped me a nickle. I didnt ask anything, usually stars like to be left alone and the culture here is to just pretend they aren't stars when you see them. I would say it was mid 90s when it happened. Before the nanny stuff came out.

If you think of a specific question I will do my best to remember.
