I think you are implying that ‘unreasonable search and seizure’ means you don’t have to show your ID
Except your state ID is not yours it is the property of the state where you reside. Just like a passport is the property of the US government. They can ask you to show their property, recall it, suspend it if void it because it’s theirs not yours.
It’s something you agitators keep taking up the the Supreme Court but you allays lose because you signed acknowledgment that ‘your’ id card belongs to your state.
Next time you get a drivers license, do not sign it because you agree to their TOS when you do.
