The family of Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel recently revealed a heartbreaking diagnosis just months after the teen brain cancer survivor captured America’s hearts when he was sworn in as an honorary member of the Secret Service by President Trump.
DJ, who was given five months to live after being diagnosed with incurable brain and spine cancer in 2018, has “three new tumors,” his father, Theodis Daniel, told Fox 7 Austin last week.
“It’s rough, there isn’t a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You’re hearing that your child has a nasty disease,” the heartbroken dad said.
“We’re just going around showing people, hey, you do care for one another. Let’s give compassion and let’s try to join and help each other get through things,” he added.
DJ, who dreams of becoming a police officer, was thrust into the national spotlight when he was sworn in as an honorary protector of Trump during the president’s address to a joint session of Congress on March 4.
The teen has nearly completed his quest to be sworn in by 1,000 law enforcement agenciesacross the country — which would be a Guinness World Record.
He already holds multiple records, including “the most keys to the city” and “most proclamation days.”
After his Secret Service honor, DJ got calls from law enforcement agencies throughout the country, including from Deputy Jeffrey Combs of the Williams County Sheriff’s Office in Texas.
“I saw Theodis pick his son up. I felt that unconditional love, and I just knew I had to find DJ, so it all worked out,” he told FOX 7 last week.
The teen has been keeping in good spirits: During the Williams County ceremony, DJ rubbed deputies’ bald heads for luck, the outlet reported.
And the youngster was just as upbeat at another recent swearing-in, this one in Polk County, Florida.
“I’ll keep going until my gas tank runs out, and that’s when God calls you home,” Daniel told officers. “The craziest thing is on my 11th brain surgery, God told me I was one of his angels and I’m doing God’s work.
“On my 12th brain surgery, he gave me my wings, but he told me I’m going to take these back until you graduate the school called life.”

As previously noted, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released some of the FBI investigative files related to a congressional referral of Nellie Ohr for false testimony to congress. Within the Grassley release thedeclassified FBI investigative notes show that Trump-Russia files were compartmentalized, allowing control over access to them by the FBI Director and FBI Deputy Director.
The 7th floor level classification within the FBI’s Sentinel record-keeping system was previously unknown, and now people arestarting to ask questions about what other information may be filed yet invisibledue to the classification designation of “Prohibited Access.”
The Sentinel record-keeping system allows FBI officials and investigators to review and research the status of investigations both past and current. The Sentinel system is also the information system that is searched for responsive documents to legal cases and FOIA inquires.The Sentinel system contains all the information used by the FBI.[Page 3, pdf Here]
Within the Sentinel system there are “Restricted Access” files that are used to control who can view the file information. The FBI official can see the file but cannot access the information within it without a higher clearance level. However, now people are discovering there is a“Prohibited Access” designation that makes the file invisible to searchesor queries and is controlled by the FBI Director and FBI Deputy Director.
Margot Cleveland is asking some good questions about how the use of the “Prohibited Access” designation may circumvent the FBI’s legal requirements (brady material) and FOIA searches. [SEE HERE] However, I would also note this approach hides information not only from congress and from the public, but also from the Executive branch itself.The DNI wouldn’t even know what information exists.=
Additionally,we can expand the overall issue to highlight this same approach at work in various other governmental agencies. This is one of the reasons I refer to theagencies within government more aptly as information “silos.”
The same “secrecy filtering” system outlined in the FBI Sentinel system, “restricted access” (visible but needing a higher clearance) vs “prohibited access” (totally invisible)exists in other govt systems.
The NSA, DHS and CIA contain the same issue, information hidden and kept secret. This is the core reason I have historically called them “silos.”
The same ‘what the heck’ realization encountered with the FBI file keeping, as noted by the Grassley revelations,extends far beyond the FBI.
This is also why I have said the Intelligence Community hascreated a “caste system” within the surveillance and information space.

Our government, via Palantir, is currently building the domestic identity surveillance system, where every identity will be stored. However, within the storage, and by extension the parameters of the surveillance search results, there will be people who are defined by placing their identity in the “prohibited access” category.

I was told in August 2020 that the FBI investigative file into James Wolfe leaking the Carter Page FISA application, is in the “prohibited access” tier of the FBIbecause it outlines Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Vice-Chairman Mark Warner participating and directing the leak.
That was how/why SSCI Security Director James Wolfe was never charged with leaking a TSCI classified file.

Everything is skewed with a negative tone, yet the data clearly shows -just like 2017- President Trump’s MAGAnomic policy benefits are starting to surface.
News pundits said President Trump’s tariff policies would skyrocket prices. In reality theyearly inflation rate [BLS data] has dropped to 2.1%, the lowest in four years. Core prices (removing food and energy) rose 2.5% from a year earlier, below the March figure of 2.7%, and the lowest in more than four years.
Meanwhile personal incomes tripledexpectations coming in at 0.8% for the month of April. “Personal income surged 0.8% well ahead of the forecast for 0.3%.” Then comes the predictable.
The trade deficit dropped by 46%in the month of April.

Despite increased tariffs we are likely to see a replay of pricing parity similar to 2017 as companies benefit from lowered energy prices, lower fuel costs, lower Transporation and lower warehousing costs. Simultaneously, export companies who rely on access to the U.S. market will attempt to offset any tariff price as applied. Those combined savings can, likely will, offset increased tariffs on arriving goods.
Consumers benefit from lower gasoline costs, lower overall electricity costs and increased demand for labor within a growing economy thatputs natural upward pressure on wages.

When asked how he can overcome Trump’s endorsement of Graham, Lynch said the endorsement from We the People is “so much heavier.”
“It just hits the scale the other direction. And when that endorsement came out, the majority of the pulse in America, all over the country, everywhere we could see it — in social media, TV, newspapers, radio interviews, everywhere — was that we love President Trump, but this endorsement will not save him,” Lynch said.
“We’re done with Lindsey, because people have — they have the freedom to make a decision on their own,” he added.

While President Trump is striving to bring about peace to one of the bloodiest wars on the planet, one of theSenate’s most notorious war hawks is rattling his sabers, angling for more turmoil.
Senators Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) arrived in Kyiv to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday. Per a press release fromZelenskyy’s office, the three discussed U.S. legislation that would strengthen sanctions against Russia, coordinating diplomatic efforts to achieve “a just and lasting peace,” and developing bilateral relations between Ukraine and the United States.
Look at how warmly Zelenskyy and Graham greet each other.
Following the meeting, Graham gave a press conference alongside Blumenthal, at whichhe issued a significant threat against Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Communist China.
“The game that Putin has been playing is about to change,” Graham asserted. “He is going to be hit and hit hard by the United States when it comes to sanctions!”
The South Carolina senator then turned his attention to China.
“China, the game you are playing with Russia is about to change!” he bellowed. “If you keep buying cheap Russian oil to keep filling Putin’s war machine, there’ll be a 500% tariff on all of your products!”
As Reuters notes, the Senate is scheduled to vote on a Russian sanctions bill next week, which will accomplish exactly what Graham wants.
If Graham and the U.S. Senate followed through on this threat, China’s economy could collapse, and Russia might go into a depression as well. But did Graham consider what the response from both nations would be?
Putin and Xi Jinping are not the type of leaders who sit back and take it when their nations’ economic security and pride are attacked.

LANSING — Members of West Michigan’s billionaire DeVos family are launching a group called Michigan Forward Network, looking to stake a new claim in a state where they have long wielded far-reaching political influence.
And they're enlisting Ronna McDaniel, former chair of the Republican National Committee, to lead the charge.
“I love my home state, and if you care about Michigan’s future, you cannot sit idly by and watch its decline,” Dick DeVos said in a statement announcing the organization. He will lead an advisory board for the group.
“The Michigan Forward Network is committed to delivering the leadership and policies we need to turn things around," he added.
The family has cast a long shadow in Michigan politics for decades, together spending more than $80 million in disclosed donations to campaigns and political action committees in state politics over the past two decades, according to a Bridge review of state campaign finance data.
That’s excluding a reported $5 million donation the family recently made to a super PAC supporting US Rep. John James’ 2026 campaign for Michigan governor. Family members have also made close to $28 million in disclosed federal donations since 2019, according to Federal Election Commission records.
McDaniel, a Michigan native who led the state GOP before President Donald Trump endorsed her for the national role in 2017, will serve as CEO of the new Michigan Forward Network.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal,McDaniel said the group’s first focus would be to restore Republican majorities in the state legislature, where Democrats still control the Senate.
The group will operate as a 501(c)(4), a so-called “dark money” nonprofitthat will not have to disclose its donors and can spend unlimited amounts to influence elections but cannot directly coordinate with candidates or campaigns.
McDaniel told the Wall Street Journal that the DeVos’ initial commitment would be millions of dollars, and that the initiative aims to make Michigan “reliably red.”
“We need to become a state like Ohio,” she told the newspaper, referring to Michigan’s southern neighbor that has shifted from a political battleground to an increasingly reliable Republican state.
Michigan is poised to be a battleground again in 2026, with open races for both governor and US Senate. Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is term-limited, and Democratic US Sen. Gary Peters announced earlier this year he would be leaving Congress at the end of his term.
Sarah Anderson, who was announced as the group’s chief of staff, has led other DeVos-affiliated political nonprofits, the Michigan Freedom Fund and Michigan Freedom Network, which have reliably campaigned against Democrats at the state level. The email announcing the Michigan Forward Network had a disclaimer that it was paid for by the Michigan Freedom Fund.
