Manufacturers need to pay their employees more; most currently pay shit wages with shit benefits, and they always fuck with employee schedules, shifts, and hours so many can’t even get 40 hrs per week. Companies around me in my rural neck of CONUS only pay $12-$14/hr, whereas Walmart is paying $18. That’s why the manufacturers can’t find or keep employees.
