My grandfather read the bible, quoted it daily, prayed openly, and witnessed to everyone who showed up at his door.

He also was estranged from his kids because he was a lying, cheating, conniving person who burned down his family home because he hated his father and siblings, molested his daughter, refused his wife an indoor bathroom because she 'nagged' him for one, and burned down his house for insurance money so he could have an indoor bathroom because he went blind from refusing to take care of his diabetes. But wow, he could tell you all about how to be saved.

tldr: you have no idea who a person is from their public appearance.

having lived around people who seemed to have split personalities based in childhood sexual trauma that goes back generations, many of the most religious people have the darkest demons hidden from view.

Her illuminati symbolism tattooed and acted should give you pause.

which is why I replied to the dude saying she was a Christian because she read the bible cover to cover publicly

In reality what is ones heart is unknowable to anyone but the individual and God. What you say and do can all be faked.

which books of the canonical or non canonical bible to you want to discuss? maybe gnostic writings? the Vedas? you know a lot of what Jesus said mirrors Buddhism? did you know rebuking aliens in the name of Jesus makes them disappear and that atheists see Jesus in what ever form makes them comfortable during near death experiences?

True Christian is your term, own it.

I literally said you can not know another mans heart, I said nothing about True Christians, that was you rewording perfectly lovely Christian to try to imply i had defined Christianity, which i did not.

So… since this conversation is about hard questions, which trying to get to the definition of a true Christian is not, are you AI? trying to reword and shift meanings to pin down the meaning of True Christianity seems like something AI would do because it is a difficult question for AI. You might want to start with what is the Christ if you really are looking for a definition.

dude, I am going to go with the assumption that you are actually sincere in your questioning (I know, a dangerous thing to do on a image board) and not a smart ass like me asking rhetorical questions.

  1. There are as many definitions for being a Christian as there are people willing to embark on defining it. There are general groupings of such definitions, one of which your question has been responded to with twice already. Western civilization's basis is often described as Christian, but is only tangentially related to what Jesus (oft refuted to as the Christ) had to say. If you actually read my other posts, you will know I would never define someone as a true Christian nor create a definition that would allow you to try to judge someone as such. However, most people I have met are more than willing to make such a judgement and as such I am happy to point out the fallacy of their judgement and definition.

  2. Since i will not define Christianity your questions about circumcision are a moot point. I am sorry someone cut you without our permission, it would seem to me it should be your own personal decision. But… that is the way life goes, sometimes.
