When are they going to acknowledge and address the fact they have PEDO symbols on their badges.
Maybe people should tweet at them, to investigate that too( who made the badges, did they know) were they not aware of the FBI pedo codes?
L.A. County sheriff announces inquiry into secret societies of deputies and their matching TATTOOS of a skeleton holding a rifle
Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell has launched an inquiry into alleged police secret societies operating within his jurisdiction
The inquiry was launched after a deputy revealed that he was one of 10 to 20 people within a single police department branded with a skeleton tattoo
The tattoo design is of a skeleton holding a machine gun wearing a WWII helmet
The inquiry is expected to last three months and findings will be made public
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's has begun an inquiry into whether there is a secret 'gang' of deputies within a police department that brands members with matching tattoos.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim McDonnell made the inquiry announcement at a meeting of the Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission on Thursday.
The decision to look into the supposed gang operating within the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Compton Station, in Compton, California, was made after it was alleged that as many as 20 deputies sport matching tattoos, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The tattoo depicts a skeleton holding a machine gun and wearing a World War II-style helmet against a flaming background. The letters 'C P T' — short for Compton — are also part of the ink's design.
The tattoo came to light in May, when LASD Compton Station Deputy Samuel Aldama, who is involved in a wrongful death suit, said in a deposition that he is one of between 10 to 20 other police at the Compton Station who has the particular tattoo.
Aldama said that he got the tattoo in June 2016, two months prior to his involvement in a fatal shooting.
He and another deputy shot and killed a man, Donta Taylor, in the line of duty. They claimed that Taylor had been holding a gun during the incident.
An autopsy revealed that Taylor had been shot six times and that he had gunpowder residue on his shorts, which suggested the presence of a gun there at some point. However, investigators did not find a weapon at the scene, either on or near Taylor's body.
The district attorney's office determined that Aldama and the other deputy's actions were lawful. Taylor's family has since filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
Dating as far back to the 1970s, the department was home to secret societies of officers operating under names like the Regulators and Grim Reapers, with some of them being accused of promoting excessively aggressive policing and, in the case of the Vikings club, being called 'neo-Nazi, white supremacist gang' by a federal judge.
