Facing heavy battlefield losses, the “illegitimate Kiev regime” has resorted to organizing terrorist attacks to try to intimidate Russia, President Vladimir Putin has said.
The recent acts of railway sabotage in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk Regions were “undoubtedly a terrorist act,” Putin said. He added that “the decisions to carry out such crimes were, of course, made in Ukraine” by the political leadership.
“The strike on the civilian population was intentional,” Putin said. “And this only confirms our concern that the already illegitimate regime in Kiev, which once seized power, is gradually turning into a terrorist organization, and its sponsors are becoming accomplices to terrorists.”
The president accused Ukraine and its Western backers of having sought a strategic defeat of Russia on the battlefield. Now, he said, Kiev is shifting tactics amid mounting losses and setbacks along the front line.
“Today, amid heavy losses and retreating along the entire line of contact, the Kiev leadership has turned to organizing terrorist acts in an attempt to intimidate Russia,” Putin said.
Despite this, he added, Ukrainian officials are requesting a pause in the fighting and proposing meetings at the highest level. “But how can such meetings be held under these conditions?” Putin said. “What is there to talk about? Who conducts negotiations with those who rely on terror – with terrorists?”
The Russian leader emphasized that “power, for the [Kiev] regime, is apparently more important than peace, more important than human lives.”
The two train sabotage incidents took place on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. In the first, a bridge fell in front of a moving passenger train in Bryansk Region. The second incident took place in Kursk Region, when a railway bridge collapsed under a moving freight train. In total, seven people died and 113 were injured.
Both attacks came shortly before the second round of Russia-Ukraine talks in Istanbul and amid a surge in Kiev’s drone raids into Russia, which Moscow says are aimed at derailing the peace process.

Illegal Alien Arrested for Molesting Teen Girl Placed in His Care by Biden’s “Unaccompanied Alien Children” Program
A 37-year-old illegal immigrant, Wilson Manfredo Lopez-Carillo, was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl placed in his home through the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UAC) program.
According to the Daily Wire, the arrest was made on May 22, 2025.
According to charging documents from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Lopez-Carillo faces three counts of sexual assault on a minor.
The victim, who arrived in the U.S. in August 2023 as an unaccompanied minor, was sent by HHS to live with Lopez-Carillo and others in a loosely-vetted household.
Police reports detail a horrifying pattern of abuse, with Lopez-Carillo allegedly taking advantage of the girl’s isolation to assault her on multiple occasions in February 2024.
On one occasion, while the adult woman in the household was out selling tamales to support the family, Lopez-Carillo allegedly grabbed the teen in the kitchen, dragged her to his bedroom, and sexually assaulted her.
A second incident followed a similar pattern, with the predator offering the girl $100 to stay silent—an offer she bravely refused. Fearing retribution, the teen initially did not report the assaults, as Lopez-Carillo had threatened her to keep quiet.
The situation came to light when the adult woman in the home grew suspicious and confronted Lopez-Carillo. Instead of protecting the victim, she gave the girl three days to leave the house.
The teen, now facing homelessness, sought refuge with a church friend who later became her legal guardian. It was only in this safe environment that the girl felt secure enough to report the abuse to authorities.

According to the report, the firm will start providing financing against crypto exchange-traded funds, beginning with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), in the coming weeks, people familiar with the matter said. The move marks the latest effort involving crypto among the biggest US banks after the Trump administration started removing regulatory barriers.
Just as importantly, JPMorgan - which until now refused to add crypto to the calculation of net worth - will also begin taking wealth-management clients’ crypto holdings into account when assessing their overall net worth and liquid assets, the people said, asking not to be named as the plans aren’t public. That means cryptocurrencies will be given similar treatment to stocks, cars or art when calculating how much a client can borrow against their assets.

DOJ ‘Will Not Tolerate’ Violent Rhetoric From Anti-Israel Groups
An anti-Israel group encouraging violence against police officers and Zionists should know that the Department of Justice (DOJ) “will not tolerate” such rhetoric, the agency told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Activist group Unity of Fields came out in support of the May 21 murder of two Israeli Embassy staff in Washington, D.C., was involved in antisemitic Columbia University protests and promotes violent sentiment against police, media reports and online posts show. The DOJ called such statements “vile,” and the FBI warned that any credible threats could result in federal action in a statement of its own.
“Recent weeks have proven that anti-Semitism is a growing poison that poses an unacceptable, deadly threat to our citizens,” the DOJ told the DCNF. “No American should ever be targeted for who they are or what they believe, and this Department of Justice will not tolerate vile rhetoric that incites violence against our brave law enforcement and innocent Americans.”
Unity of Fields did not respond to a request for comment. The group was formerly known as Palestine Action U.S., and the sources of its funding are unclear.

Deep State rigged FBI search system to hide sensitive case files, FBI insiders blocked Epstein searches with ‘prohibited access’ tool
There’s currently a MASSIVE scandal going on at the FBI.
Nefarious elements within the FBI manipulated the case management database, aka “Sentinel”, which allowed select agents to conceal evidence pertaining to cases by keyword.
This “prohibited access” function essentially gave Deep State agents the ability to cover up information about any case they wanted. In addition, we just got confirmation from a memo from Senator Grassely, that this function was used by the Mueller Special Counsel during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, meaning they were covering something up.
So let’s say a good FBI agent wanted to search the FBI database for information related to “Epstein” for example. This prohibited access function would render a false-negative, and not populate the results of what it is you were looking for. It might populate some, but not ALL. Files were able to be hidden from search results in the database using this function.
Why is this important? Because sources close to the situation tell me that this is the reason there are “delays” in the release of full information about a wide variety of topics. Much of it is still being hidden, and cannot be looked up electronically, but they are finding more information.
The Deep State built in many failsafes in an attempt to prevent the incoming Trump administration from finding what they don’t want to be found.

Gaza aid sites close for the day as GHF seeks to bolster security after shootings

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation announced that its aid distribution sites would not operate on Wednesday in order to give time for the US- and Israeli-backed organization to carry out logistical work needed to accommodate larger crowds.
The extra day will also give the IDF time to prepare safer access routes to distribution sites before operations resume on Thursday, a GHF spokesperson said, after a third consecutive day saw a mass-casualty incident among Palestinians near the sites.
The IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson also issued a statement warning Palestinians that travel on roads leading to the aid sites would be prohibited in the interim, as they are considered combat zones.
Another GHF spokesperson told The Times of Israel that the organization is actively engaged in talks with the IDF to enhance the army’s security measures beyond the immediate perimeter of GHF sites.
To support civilian safety outside distribution sites, the spokesperson said GHF has asked the IDF to introduce measures that guide foot traffic in a way that minimizes confusion or escalation risks near the IDF-operated perimeter around the sites; develop clearer IDF-issued guidelines to help Palestinians safely reach the distribution sites; and boost IDF training and refine internal procedures to ensure the safety of Palestinians.

Bank Founded By Democrat Billionaire Loans Illegals Money To Fight ‘Systemic Racism’
An ideologically-driven bank founded by a leftwing billionaire offers loans to illegal aliens as part of its effort to fight “centuries of systemic racism,” using a little-known financial tactic to profit off America’s mass immigration crisis.
Beneficial State Bank, a project of billionaire Democrat donor and former presidential candidate Tom Steyer, utilizes Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) to give loans to illegal aliens who would not otherwise be able to access lines of credit.
Rather than characterizing it as a way to corner the lending market for illegal aliens, who may otherwise struggle to access traditional financial tools, the Oakland, California-based bank says that its loan offerings are part of a plan to combat “systemic racism.”
“Beneficial State Bank is committed to addressing financial inequalities that disproportionately affect communities of color, a result of centuries of systemic racism,” the bank said in an announcement for its 2022 impact report. “The bank aims to foster financial security and broaden access to fair, transparent financing for all its customers, including those in immigrant communities.”
“A key initiative is lending to immigrant customers who may not have Social Security numbers but possess Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers,” the announcement reads. “In 2022 alone, Beneficial State Bank issued $25 million in auto loans to 707 ITIN borrowers.”
The bank doubled down on its effort to offer loans to illegal aliens the following year, its 2023 impact report reveals.
“Because many financial institutions require social security numbers, people without them, such as recent immigrants to the United States, can face barriers to qualifying for the loan they need to purchase a car,” the report reads. “The bank lends to customers with Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers, providing critical access to credit and expanding financial inclusion.”
The bank noted that roughly 10% of the 16,000 active auto loans have been given to “customers using this alternative documentation.”
The program is specifically intended to appeal to illegal aliens. A subsidiary of Beneficial State Bank “first began lending to undocumented immigrants through furniture loans by partnering with furniture stores,” the Global Alliance for Banking on Values wrote.
Beneficial State Bank also offers loans to people with California AB 60 driver’s licenses, a specific type of license that can be obtained by “individuals who are unable to provide proof of legal residence in the United States.” The bank says that this loan offering allows “people without a social security number to access credit.”
Beneficial State Bank did not respond to a request for comment. But the bank is not the only financial institution that caters to illegal aliens by giving out ITIN loans. Prysma Lending, a mortgage lending company that operates in seven different states has actively courted illegal alien customers and has disbursed over a billion dollars in loans, a Daily Wire investigation revealed.
The company hosted a talk with an immigration lawyer and created a guide for illegal aliens who encounter federal law enforcement, telling customers how to trigger a “credible fear” interview to avoid deportation and explaining that “the interview process can slow deportation proceedings, giving you time to build a legal defense.”

American Democracy Is A Hoax — the Rulers of America Are Not the People
In Ed Curtin’s collection of essays that I recently reviewed ( https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2025/04/27/are-americans-still-americans/ ), he explains in an essay, “Opening the CIA’s Can of Worms,” who created and maintains the fictionalized narrative-controlled world in which Americans live in ignorance of the real operating agendas.
Curtin says it is the CIA, not the media or the Internet companies or the politicians, who controls the narratives. The CIA’s own overlords are the powerful financial and corporate interests on which American success depends. Curtin’s account parallels US Marine Commander General Smedley Butler’s confession that he and his US Marines were the enforcers in Latin America for the United Fruit Company and the New York Banks.
There is endless documented evidence for Curtin’s conclusion. Much has been written about the CIA’s “Operation Mockingbird,” now described by CIA media assets, such as Wikipedia, as “alleged operation.” Beginning in 1950 the CIA began using bribes, such as “leaks” to American media that were designed to influence American and foreign opinion with controlled narratives that advanced secret agendas. The CIA’s “leaks” made the careers of reporters who could attest to their editors “CIA source” and make the front page if not the headlines. Most journalists regarded as influential are CIA assets.
More recently, Udo Ulfkotte’s book, Bought Journalism, revealed that he, an editor at Germany’s largest newspaper, and most significant journalists in Europe are CIA assets. His own CIA connections were revealed.
We know it also from Stephen Kinzer’s book, The Brothers, which gives us the story of how US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and CIA Director Allen Dulles used the State Department, CIA, and American and foreign journalist to serve the corporate clients of their powerful law firm.
Today, of course, the many proven facts are dismissed by the whore media and Wikipedia as conspiracy theory. The CIA’s assets continue to do their assigned job of controlling the narratives.
Curtin endorses Douglas Valentine’s statement in his revealing book, The CIA As Organized Crime: “The CIA and the media are part of the same criminal conspiracy.” In his own words, Curtin adds:
“The corporate mainstream media are stenographers for the national security state’s ongoing psychological operations aimed at the American people, the same as they have done for an international audience. We have long been subjected to this ‘information warfare,’ whose purpose is to win the hearts and minds of the American people and pacify them into being victims of their own complicity, just as it was practiced by the CIA in Vietnam and by the New York Times, Washington Post, CBS, etc, on the American people over the years as the American warfare state wages endless wars, coups, false flag operations, and assassinations at home and abroad. . . . the roles that the CIA and the corporate mainstream media play cannot be distinguished from each other.”

A Neuralink Rival Just Tested a Brain Implant in a Person
Paradromics, a brain-computer-interface startup, inserted its brain implant in a person—briefly—in an early test of its technology
Brain-computer-interface startup Paradromics today announced that surgeons successfully inserted the company’s brain implant into a patient and safely removed it after about 10 minutes.
It’s a step toward longer trials of the device, dubbed Connexus. It’s also the latest commercial development in a growing field of companies—including Elon Musk’s Neuralink—aiming to connect people’s brains directly to computers.
With the Connexus, Austin-based Paradromics is looking to restore speech and communication in people with spinal cord injury, stroke, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS. The device is designed to translate neural signals into synthesized speech, text, and cursor control. Paradromics, which was founded in 2015, has been testing its implant in sheep for the past few years. This is the first time it has used the device in a human patient.
The procedure took place on May 14 at the University of Michigan and was conducted in a person who was undergoing brain surgery to treat their epilepsy. The patient gave their consent for the Connexus device to be temporarily inserted into their temporal lobe, which processes auditory information and encodes memory. To implant the device, surgeons used an EpiPen-like instrument developed by Paradromics. Researchers were then able to verify that the device was able to record electrical signals from the patient’s brain.
“There's a very unique opportunity when someone is undergoing a major neurosurgical procedure,” says Matt Angle, CEO of Paradromics. “They're going to have their skull opened up, and there's going to be a piece of brain that will be imminently removed. Under these conditions, the marginal risk of testing out a brain implant is actually very low.”

Israeli Military Admits To Shooting Palestinians Near Gaza Aid Site, 27 Reported Killed
The Israeli military admitted that it opened fire at Palestinians near the distribution sites, claiming it targeted “suspects” who were approaching IDF troops. The statement did not allege that the Palestinians were armed. Axios later reported that the IDF acknowledged it fired at civilians.
“Earlier today, during the movement of the crowd along the designated routes toward the aid distribution site—approximately half a kilometer from the site—IDF troops identified several suspects moving toward them, deviating from the designated routes,” the IDF said in a statement.
“The troops carried out warning fire, and after the suspects failed to retreat, additional shots were directed near individual suspects who advanced toward the troops,” the statement added.

Last week, British AI startup backed by Microsoft and the Qatar Investment Authority, Builder.ai, filed for bankruptcy after its CEO said a major creditor had seized most of its cash.
Valued at $1.5 billion after a $445 million investment by Microsoft, the company claimed to leverage artificial intelligence to generate custom apps in ‘days or weeks,’ which would produce functional code that had less human involvement.
Now they’ve gone cloth-off… as Bloomberg reports they had a ‘fake it till you make it’ strategy while having inflated 2024 revenue projections by 300%. Instead of AI, the company was actually using a fleet of more than 700 Indian engineers from social media startup VerSe Innovation for years to actually write the code.
Requests for custom apps were based on pre-built templates and later customized through human labor to tailor the requests sent to the company – whose demos and promotional materials misrepresented the role of AI.
According to Bloomberg, Builder.ai and VerSe Innovation ‘routinely billed one another for roughly the same amounts between 2021 and 2024,’ in an alleged practice known as “round-tripping” that people said Builder.ai used to inflate revenue figures that were then presented to investors. In several cases, products and services weren’t actually rendered for these payments.

‘Corpses rotting in the Nile’ as cholera tears through Sudan
The waterborne disease has rapidly spread throughout Sudan due to the ongoing civil war.
After Sudan’s army recaptured the national capital region of Khartoum in March, tens of thousands of people returned to check on their homes and reunite with loved ones.
The joy of returning was tempered by the shock of seeing the damage caused during nearly two years under the control of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group that has been fighting the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), recognised by many Sudanese and the UN as the de facto authority in Sudan, since April 2023.
Many of the returnees had settled in Omdurman, one of the national capital’s three cities, where living conditions were slightly better than in the other cities. This is because several localities in Omdurman never came under the RSF’s control, insulating it from heavy clashes, pillaging, and looting.
Omdurman quickly became overcrowded, with “thousands of people [returning] from Egypt alone”, according to Dr Dirar Abeer, a member of Khartoum’s Emergency Response Rooms, neighbourhood committees spearheading relief efforts across the country.
The crowding, Dr Abeer said, meant an accelerated spread of cholera, an acute, highly contagious diarrhoeal infection that is endemic to Sudan and can be fatal if not treated.
“In areas south of the Nile in Omdurman, there are a lot of corpses rotting next to [or in] the Nile, and this has [partially] caused the spread of infection,” said Badawi, a volunteer in Omdurman who declined to give his full name due to the sensitivity of speaking in a warzone.
Cholera has become an epidemic in Sudan, spreading in several states, including White Nile and Gadarif, and killing hundreds in the last two weeks.
As in Khartoum, the spread was fuelled by overcrowding and a lack of essential services in these regions.
The waterborne disease could be stopped with basic sanitation and provisions, said Fazli Kostan, the project coordinator for Doctors Without Borders, known by its French initials MSF.
“But that’s not really possible right now,” he told Al Jazeera, referring to a lack of electricity to pump water since Omdurman’s electricity grids went down on May 14.
The RSF had fired a barrage of suicide drones that day, which took out major power stations and grids, consequently shutting down water treatment plants and causing a sharp rise in cases.
Deprived of safe drinking and bathing water, people have resorted to drinking contaminated water from the Nile, as well as scooping up water from the ground after it rains, Badawi said.
The SAF-backed Ministry of Health (MoH) reported a huge surge in daily cholera cases in the national capital region between May 15 and May 25, with at least 172 people dying between May 20 and May 27.

When you spend 30 trillion dollars that you do not have, it is easy to create an illusion of prosperity. In 1995, the nation was obsessed with the O.J. Simpson trial, “Toy Story” was the biggest movie of the year, the Sony Playstation made its debut in the United States, and Bill Clinton was in the White House. At that time, the U.S. national debt was right on the verge of crossing the 5 trillion dollar mark. Today, the U.S. national debt is sitting at 36.2 trillion dollars. That means that we have added more than 30 trillion dollars to the national debt in just 30 years.
So what did we get for 30 trillion dollars?
We got the greatest party in the history of the world.
Over the past three decades, we have been enjoying an obscenely inflated standard of living that we did not deserve.
When the government spends money, it provides a short-term boost to the economy. Those that get their hands on the money that the government spends end up using it to go shopping, repair their vehicles, eat at restaurants, etc.
If we could go back and pull 30 trillion dollars of extra government spending over the last 30 years out of the economy, we would be in a rip-roaring depression right now.
So for those of you that wish to avoid economic pain at all costs, you should thank our Congress critters for spending money like drunken sailors all these years.
But in the process, our leaders have destroyed America’s future.
We are broke, and we are absolutely drowning in debt.
The only way that we can meet our obligations is to go into ever larger amounts of debt.
Unfortunately, that cycle can only go on for so long before we reach a point where nobody wants to lend us money anymore.
If you have been paying attention to the bond market, you already know that there have been all sorts of red flags in 2025.
The clock is ticking. But instead of getting our spending under control, Congress seems determined to ramp our spending up to a much higher level…
The package of tax-and-spending measures sent to the Senate, now officially called the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, could act like budgetary wolf bait. It would add around $3 trillion to debt levels over the next decade compared with existing estimates and $5 trillion if certain temporary features were made permanent, according to the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
For perspective, federal interest this fiscal year already will be more than the defense budget and more than Medicaid, disability insurance and food stamps combined.
If you are one of those that want to keep the party going for as long as possible, you probably support this bill.

It is notable that this Bill contributed to Elon Musk’s negative comments claiming it adds significantly to the deficit and basically negates DOGE cost cutting. There are a few Defense budgets that stand out: 1) Indo-Pacific – which would coincide with Hegseth’s fear mongering about China and Taiwan, and 2) the largest single allocation – over $4 billion for ‘classified’ military space superiority.
The Bill is sponsored by Jody Arrington, a war hawk from the Bush/Cheney era. His political contributors include Koch, Inc and AIPAC.

Egypt's energy gamble has left it beholden to Israel
Cairo faces a combustible mix of geopolitical blackmail, economic fragility, and surging regional tensions
As the scorching summer season approaches, Egypt finds itself once again in the throes of an uncomfortable ritual: the annual scramble for natural gas.
Recent reports paint a concerning picture of what's to come, industrial gas supplies to vital sectors like petrochemicals and fertilizers have been drastically cut, some by as much as 50 percent. The proximate cause? Routine maintenance at Israel’s Leviathan mega-field, leading to a significant drop in imports.
But this is merely the latest symptom of a deeper, more chronic ailment. Egypt, once lauded as a rising energy hub, has fallen into a perilous trap of dependence, its national security and foreign policy options increasingly constrained by an awkward reliance on Israeli gas.
For years, the Egyptian government assured its populace and the world of an impending energy bonanza. The discovery of the gargantuan Zohr gas field in 2015, hailed as the largest in the Mediterranean, was presented as the dawn of a new era. By 2018, when Zohr began production, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi declared that Egypt had "scored a goal," promising self-sufficiency and even the transformation into a regional gas exporter. The vision was that Egypt, once an importer, would leverage its strategic location and liquefaction plants to become a vital conduit for Eastern Mediterranean gas flowing to Europe.
Billions were poured into new power stations, further solidifying the nation's reliance on gas for electricity generation, which today accounts for a staggering 60 percent of its total consumption.
However, the dream of abundant domestic gas has, like so many ambitious projects in the region, begun to wither. Just three years after its peak, Zohr’s output alarmingly declined. Experts now suggest Zohr’s recoverable reserves may be far less than initially estimated. Furthermore, as Egyptian energy expert Khaled Fouad notes, the political leadership's "impatience" to accelerate production for quick economic returns — especially to capitalize on European demand amid the Russia-Ukraine war — led to technical problems and damage to the wells.
Compounding this internal mismanagement is Egypt’s chronic foreign currency crunch, and the multi-billion dollars in arrears it owes to international oil and gas companies.
These financial troubles have, in turn, curtailed crucial investments in new exploration and the maintenance of existing fields, effectively strangling domestic production. Consequently, by 2023, Egypt had dramatically reverted to being a net natural gas importer, a precipitous swing of over $10 billion from its brief surplus just a year prior. And in 2024, Israeli gas accounted for a dominant 72 percent of Egypt's total gas imports. This growing dependence has, perhaps inevitably, transformed a commercial transaction into a formidable tool of leverage.
