Michele Melendez, author of The Great Maui Land Grab, says that there are currently millions of acres burning in fires across Canada and the US. She said that Hawaii is attempting to codify “land acquisition” into the Hawaii General Plan 2045 using the excuses of climate and protecting natural resources to grab private land. She mentioned that if governments wanted to stop the fires, they could use weather modification to make it rain. The first weather modification patent was filed in 1891 for cloud seeding to initiate rain.

GOP Senator Calls For Investigation Into $4.7 Trillion In ‘Untraceable’ Treasury Payments

In February, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered $4.7 trillion in payments made by the US Treasury that are “almost impossible” to trace – as Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) identification codes were optional in the system. This left trillions in payments blank and unable to be traced. Republican Senator Rick Scott introduced a bill – the LEDGER Act – requiring the Treasury Department to track all payments.

Republican Senator Eric Schmitt has called for an investigation into where the untraceable payments have been going. He said,”There’s so much waste. There’s so much fraud, There’s so much abuse in our government. I’m glad there was a laser-like focus on it. We ought to make many of those reforms permanent, but there probably ought to be some investigations here about where this money actually went. I mean this is taxpayer money. People work hard.”

Trump plans to discontinue TSA's 'Quiet Skies' program, CBS News reports

(Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump plans to end the Transportation Security Administration's "Quiet Skies" surveillance program, a CBS News reporter said on Wednesday on X, citing unidentified sources.The closure of the program could be announced as early as Thursday as aides have discussed how to shutter it without impacting security, CBS reported, citing unidentified U.S. officials.

The TSA declined to comment. The White House and Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Some Republican lawmakers had questioned the program earlier this year when U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was placed on its watch list.

On Tuesday, CBS reported that Senator Jeanne Shaheen's husband was placed on the list in 2023 and was removed after she spoke with the TSA's then-director, CBS said.

According to CBS, the program employs analysts and undercover air marshals to identify and monitor travelers in airports and during flights who could pose a security risk.

CBS said that it was unclear if program staffers would be transferred elsewhere within the administration or if the air marshals' work would continue.
