Any anons know the best way to ensure a public school isnt hiding anything from you via a FERPA request? I filed a complaint and the BOE response was basically vague and stated they cant regulate how long records are stored. The school is definetly playing games and not being transparent, though it seems they got a little nervous about the BOE call. The school states under no circumstances will any records leave the school, but I live far enough away its not practical. Any leads for lawyers in this area helps too.
