it appears to me that we only have one type of currently deployed, currently operational sub-based missile, the UGM-133 Trident II (D5LE).

since it's not a nuke, different COC.

and the more i look, the less likely a sub-based-surface-to-air, anti-aircraft missile sounds.

i've found articles which state that the U.S. has zero light missile (aa style) capability on subs, and that israeli subs have a system and germans have a system.

Q - foreign sub launch? technically act of war???

similar boat.

the trouble i'm having is - i see a missile there.

i don't doubt that one bit.

but nobody claimed it.

US subs don't launch anti-aircraft missiles, that I can tell. Israeli might, German might, Chinese - maaaaybe?

but we don't.

this might have been a US surface ship SAM, but Q said sub, and hinted at chinese hack news.

all i know is that i don't understand yet.
