Mass graves discovered in Libya

Dozens of bodies have been discovered in detention centers in Libya, the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) reported on Wednesday, calling for an independent investigation into the “grim findings” and abuses at the facilities.
Violence, political disorder and lawlessness has blighted the North African country since a NATO-backed uprising toppled longtime leader Muammar Gaddafi more than a decade ago.
The graves were found in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, according to the OHCHR, at “official and unofficial” sites operated by the Stabilization Support Apparatus (SSA), an armed group mandated to bolster government security.
“Our worst held fears are being confirmed: dozens of bodies have been discovered at these sites, along with the discovery of suspected instruments of torture and abuse, and potential evidence of extrajudicial killings,” UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk said.
The SSA, a powerful militia formally aligned to Libya’s Government of National Unity (GNU), has long faced allegations of “torture and enforced disappearances.”
The findings followed deadly clashes in Tripoli triggered by the assassination of SSA leader Abdelghani al-Kikli – known locally as Ghaniwa – on May 12.
He was reportedly shot dead in southern Tripoli, sparking violent confrontations between rival armed factions that left several civilians dead and damaged critical infrastructure, including hospitals.
At least 77 bodies were discovered in Tripoli between May 18 and 21, including ten charred corpses found at the SSA headquarters in Abu Salim and 67 others stored in hospital refrigerators, the UN agency said in a press release. Another burial site was reportedly discovered at the SSA-run Tripoli Zoo.
“These sites must be sealed and all potential evidence preserved in support of immediate accountability efforts. Those responsible for these atrocious acts must be brought to justice without delay,” Turk stated.
Libya remains deeply fractured, divided between the UN-recognized GNU based in Tripoli and the rival Government of National Stability in the eastern city of Benghazi. Sporadic violence, militia infighting, and stalled political processes have left the country in a prolonged state of instability.
The discovery of mass graves in Libya is not uncommon.
In February, the authorities reported recovering the bodies of at least 28 people – believed to be migrants – from a mass grave in Kufra, a city around 1,712 kilometers (1,064 miles) southeast of Tripoli.
On Wednesday, the UN said two graves were uncovered that month in Jakharrah and Kufra, containing 10 and 93 bodies, respectively.
The oil-rich country, a destination for migrants from neighboring African nations, has become a major transit hub for human trafficking and migration to Europe via the Mediterranean since the overthrow and assassination of Gaddafi in 2011.

Ukraine failed to destroy Russian planes in drone raid – Moscow

None of the Russian aircraft targeted in Ukraine’s recent drone attacks were destroyed, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said.
The aircraft sustained damage but will be repaired, he told TASS In an interview published on Wednesday.
Ukrainian drones struck several Russian airbases on Sunday, in a coordinated assault across five regions, from Murmansk in the Arctic to Irkutsk in Siberia.
Kiev has claimed that the strikes damaged or destroyed approximately 40 Russian military aircraft, including Tu-95 and Tu-22 long-range bombers. Moscow, however, has dismissed both the numbers and extent of damage.
“The equipment in question, as also stated by the Defense Ministry, was not destroyed, but damaged. It will be restored,” Ryabkov said, responding to a question about whether the strikes had affected strategic stability.
Kiev’s claims about the results of the attack have been inconsistent, Ryabkov claimed. “There is nothing even remotely close” to the damage levels quoted by Kiev, he said, urging reporters to rely only on information shared through the Russian Defense Ministry’s official channels.
The official also stated that prior to the recent phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moscow had raised concerns with Washington that US officials had not responded to the attack.
Trump had reportedly insisted to Putin that the US had no prior knowledge of Kiev’s plans to strike Russian airfields, according to the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
On Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also confirmed that Putin and had told Trump a Russian response to the strikes is inevitable and that it would be carried out at the discretion of the Russian military.
Putin has accused the “illegitimate regime in Kiev” of carrying out terrorist attacks and “gradually turning into a terrorist organization.”
Shortly after the Trump-Putin phone call on Wednesday, the US Embassy in Kiev issued a security alert, warning of a “continued risk of significant air attacks.”
The US State Department has advised Americans currently in Ukraine to identify shelter locations in advance and keep reserves of water, food, and medication.
Moscow has repeatedly condemned Ukraine’s continued drone strikes and acts of sabotage on Russian territories, claiming that they undermine ongoing efforts to find a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.

Russian press crew hit by Ukrainian drones

A Russian press crew from Zvezda TV came under attack by Ukrainian drones while working near the front line in Kherson Region, the outlet reported on Thursday. One person – a military escort traveling with the team – was wounded.
According to Zvezda, the crew’s vehicle was hit twice by drones after evading strikes earlier in the day. The car caught fire, forcing the crew to evacuate with the assistance of Russian troops.
The network did not specify the size of the crew but said the military correspondent and cameraman were unharmed.
The attack took place near the settlement of Aleshki along a route leading to Kherson which remains under Ukrainian control. Aleshki, around 5km from Kherson on the Russian side of the Dnieper River, has faced repeated Ukrainian drone attacks.
According to Zvezda, Ukrainian troops use the ruins of the Antonovsky Bridge to launch drone strikes on civilian infrastructure, hospitals, and roads, making the area one of the most dangerous in the region.
While Zvezda did not show footage of their destroyed vehicle, it aired images of other damaged civilian infrastructure in Aleshki, including buildings and a nearly destroyed ambulance.
Kiev regularly targets Russian journalists covering the conflict.
In March, a vehicle marked as press in the Lugansk People’s Republic was hit in a precision artillery strike, killing Izvestia reporter Aleksandr Fedorchak, Zvezda cameraman Andrey Panov, and their driver, Aleksandr Sirkeli.
Another Zvezda reporter, Nikita Goldin, was seriously injured and later died. Recently, a Vesti Donetsk film crew was struck by a Ukrainian drone in Gorlovka, leaving the driver and cameraman with concussions after the UAV exploded near their car.
Russian officials have condemned attacks against journalists, accusing Kiev of deliberately targeting media crews to disrupt frontline reporting.
Moscow has called on international organizations, including UNESCO, the OSCE, and UN, to denounce the attacks.
Last year, it accused UNESCO of failing to include deadly Ukrainian attacks on Russian journalists in its latest biannual report covering the global state of journalist safety for 2022-23.

Russia reports new railway sabotage near Ukraine

An explosive device has damaged a railway track in Russia’s Voronezh Region on Thursday morning, according to the Federal Security Service (FSB).
The incident follows what Moscow said were two Ukrainian “terrorist attacks” on railroad infrastructure earlier this week in the border Bryansk and Kursk Regions that killed seven people and injured more than 100.
Earlier in the day, Voronezh Region Governor Aleksandr Gusev reported disruptions to rail traffic in the area, which he said prompted several trains to halt.
He explained that the driver of one of the trains “noticed minor damage to the track,” adding “there were no injuries.”
In a statement, the FSB said the railway was damaged by an explosion which occurred “directly in front of an approaching train.”
It added that “the professional actions of the train driver and crew, who noticed the track damage and carried out emergency braking,” prevented any severe consequences.
The FSB stopped short of assigning the blame for the incident, saying that an investigation is underway. It added, though, that there are “sufficient grounds” to open a criminal case under terrorism-related charges.
The incident comes as Ukraine has significantly ramped up its attacks on Russian territory, including drone raids and sabotage attempts.
Following the recent deadly train sabotage in the two Russian border regions, President Vladimir Putin called Kiev’s actions “undoubtedly a terrorist act.”
He described the sabotage an “intentional strike on the [Russian] civilian population,” suggesting that they were aimed at derailing the direct negotiations between Moscow and Kiev in Istanbul.
Putin subsequently cast doubt on whether it would make sense for Russia to continue the talks, wondering, “Who conducts negotiations with those who rely on terror – with terrorists?”

Kremlin confirms Putin warning after Ukrainian drone strikes

Russian President Vladimir Putin told his US counterpart, Donald Trump, that Moscow will respond to Ukraine’s recent attacks on Russian airbases, the Kremlin has confirmed.
Following a phone call with Putin on Wednesday, Trump announced on his Truth Social account that the two leaders had discussed Ukraine’s recent drone strikes on docked Russian airplanes and “various other attacks.”
According to Trump, Putin had told him “very strongly that he will have to respond” to the attacks.
Speaking to journalists on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin had told Trump about an upcoming response.
However, Peskov did not disclose any details about what the retaliation would entail, stating only that it would be carried out “when and how our military deems appropriate.”
Ukrainian drones hit multiple Russian airbases on Sunday in a coordinated assault. Targets ranged from Murmansk in the Arctic to Irkutsk in Siberia.

5 killed, 9 injured in Russian drone strike on Chernihiv Oblast

A Russian drone strike on the northern Ukrainian city of Pryluky overnight on June 5 killed at least five civilians, including a one-year-old child, and injured nine others, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported.
The attack, which hit residential neighborhoods, sparked large fires and left multiple homes in ruins. Chernihiv Oblast Governor Viacheslav Chaus said at least six Iranian-designed Shahed-136 drones were used in the assault.
"Five deaths have been confirmed so far, including two women and a one-year-old child who were found under the rubble," Chaus said. "Police, rescuers, and other emergency services are working at the sites of enemy strikes."
Emergency crews worked through the night to extinguish the fires. The State Emergency Service said the strike completely destroyed two residential buildings, two garages, a farm building, and a car.
Chaus added that six people were hospitalized and are receiving urgent care. According to the State Emergency Service, a 5-year-old child was injured in the attack.
Pryluky, located in Chernihiv Oblast, lies in northern Ukraine near the border with Russia and Belarus. Before Russia's full-scale invasion, it had a population of roughly 51,500.
The deadly attack is part of a broader campaign of drone and missile strikes by Russia targeting civilian infrastructure across Ukraine.
Ukraine's northern regions, including Chernihiv, have been targeted in recent weeks as Russian forces escalate their air campaign despite mounting international calls for a ceasefire.

Winnipeg Man Fined for Harassing Wildlife with Drone in Riding Mountain National Park

A Winnipeg man has been fined $1,680 after a drone found in a day-use area led park wardens to uncover multiple unauthorized flights within Riding Mountain National Park.
Parks Canada launched an investigation after a member of the public reported the discovery. A search warrant allowed officials to retrieve flight data, which showed the drone had been used on three occasions to harass wildlife in the park.
Operating a drone in the park without permission is prohibited under the Canada National Parks Act, as it can disturb animals, impact visitors, and infringe on privacy.
Parks Canada is reminding all visitors that drone use in national parks requires prior authorization.

ACLU sues Sonoma County, alleges illegal drone surveillance program

OAKLAND, Calif. - Sonoma County's Code Enforcement Division was today named in an ACLU lawsuit alleging the department has been using high-powered drones to conduct an illegal, warrantless surveillance program on county residents.
The program, launched six years ago, was intended to address unpermitted cannabis grows in hard-to-access rural areas, but the lawsuit, filed by the ACLU and a partner firm on behalf of three residents say it's become something more insidious.
"We all have the right to go about our lives in privacy in and around our homes without having to worry about a government drone flying overhead and recording us without a warrant or our knowledge," Matt Cagle, a senior staff attorney with the ACLU Foundation of Northern California, said in a press release. "
For too long, Sonoma County code enforcement has used high-powered drone to warrantlessly sift through people's private affairs and initiate charges that upend lives and livelihoods.
All the while, the County has hidden these unlawful searches from the people they've spied on, the community, and the media."
The suit named the Code Enforcement Division, its parent agency, and county officials who operate the program. The ACLU is seeking to have the County drone program declared unconstitutional and have it ended.
The Sonoma County Code Enforcement Division had not responded to request for comment as of this writing.
The suit
What they're saying:
The suit alleges that Nichola Schmitz, one of the plaintiffs, was subject to illegal surveillance and recording at her rural farm in October 2023.
Schmitz is deaf, and only became aware of the drone a worker pointed it out to her, the suit states. At that point, she ran into her bedroom and closed the blinds.
The complaint states she was worried that the drone had spied on her earlier in the day when she was naked or wrapped in a towal after her bath.
"This horrible experience has shattered my sense of privacy and security," Schmitz said in a press release. "I'm afraid to open my blinds or go outside to use my hot tub because who knows when the county's drone could be spying on."
Following the incident, Schmitz was cited for two violations of the county code: one for illegal grading and one for an unpermitted dwelling — a small cabin her now-deceased father had built in 1981.
The complaint states the county refused to answer when Schmitz asked if it was her neighbor who had used the drone. Schmitz worked with the county to rectify the problems, and spent around $25,000 in the process.
A year later the county acknowledged it had used a drone to observe her property, after repeatedly being asked by Schmitz.
"There was a single flyover from the public right of way (not over the property) on October 10, 2023, by Code Enforcement to confirm/deny the allegations of construction without permit for the sheds," the lawsuit states Hareland wrote in an email to Schmitz.
"The flyover was conducted according to policy. Any other flyovers were not done by Code Enforcement. No warrant was obtained or required by law."
Other county residents have shared similar stories, including one account from Suzanne Brock, who learned the county had surveilled her outdoor tub and shower after she was cited for alleged unpermitted construction of two barns on her property.
Upon learning that her property had been monitored via drone, the lawsuit states, Brock met with Code Enforcement officers and expressed concern that she might have been filmed naked in her bathtub.
"Defendant Sharp stated that 'when we see something like that, we turn around,'" the lawsuit states. "Brock was stunned and repeated, 'so when you see somebody, you turn it around?'
Sharp replied, 'yes… but we don't put that in the camera footage.'"

DAYTON, Md. (VIDEO: Howard County Police Department) — Police recently found a missing 5-year-old girl thanks to coordination on the ground and in the air.
Howard County police on Wednesday released body-worn camera video showing the coordination between patrol officers — one flying a drone and one at the scene — to find a missing girl in Dayton.
The video shows officers arriving amid the darkness of night to find the girl safe in a gated field.
Paramedics checked the girl as a precaution and officers reunited her with family.

Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind: UFO symposium set to land in Strathcona County

If you see some strange lights descending over Strathcona County on Saturday night, don’t freak out. The alien guests have been invited.
Among the true-believer set, it’s called a Close Encounter of the Fifth Kind, or CE-5 for short. We’ve all heard stories about people who have seen UFOs, and late-night TV is filled with stories about people being abducted by little grey beings.
But a CE-5 is where, and take this with all the grains of salt you need, contact between aliens and humans are initiated by us.
Derryn Donaghey, who has a fantastical UFO encounter story of his own, is organizing the conference, to be held near Cooking Lake, about 42 km southeast of Edmonton.
He was part of a similar gathering a couple of years ago. The attendees all form a circle, looking up. This gives the group a 360-degree view of the sky.
There is mental focus on attracting alien attention, and sounds are played that are supposedly signals to extra-terrestrials that “hey, we’ve set up a sort of interstellar bus stop, here.”
In Douglas Adams’ famed The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, travellers can stick out a beacon called an “electronic thumb” that attracts alien ships. So, it’s sort of like that, and nothing like that at the same time.
Donaghey claims that at the previous gathering, the group saw 52 “ships” in just a 10-minute period.
“And no one was scared,” he said. “They were just euphoric. Really, the truth is out there, we should see if we can find it in our lifetime.
If there is truly life out there, I think they are more active now because they have seen what a gong show is happening here.”
Donaghey said that recent moves by the American government to declassify military files and video of UFO encounters has helped push his research into the mainstream.
“I’ve never seen little green men, but I have seen things that I can’t explain, ” said Donaghey.
Donaghey was in the military police in 1987. He was part of group of military personnel who were out training near Redwater, roughly 60 km north of Edmonton.
This is what he recalls. In the middle of nowhere, their compasses stopped working. Their flashlights went dead. And soon, in a clearing, they saw a large ship, like nothing they’d ever seen.
“It was so close, you could have hit it with a slingshot,” he said.

But, when they returned to base, only three of the dozen military personnel remembered the ship at all. The memories of most of the soldiers had gone full Manchurian Candidate.
Then, it was just Donaghey and his superior officer. Dongahey said he tried to report it, and was told by superior officers to keep his mouth shut instead.
He stayed quiet for years. “You don’t want to talk about it, because you sound crazy.”
98 per cent of sightings can be explained
Nathan Zieber is a dual American/Canadian citizen who spent years working as an investigator for MUFON, the civilian-led, non-profit group that investigates UFO sightings around the world. He is known as the “Paranormal Pastor.”
He will be speaking at Saturday’s event. He said that 98 per cent of his investigations can be explained — aircraft, drones, balloons, comets and other natural phenomena.
He said that his goal as a UFO researcher is not to prove the existence of extraterrestrials, but to simply eliminate the easy-to-come-by explanations.
“My job isn’t to prove what it is, but to prove what it can’t be, that it can’t be these other things,” he said. “The truth is left out there.”
He became interested in UFO investigations because of his American grandfather, who served in the Vietnam War. He said that his grandfather saw many of what the military called “foo fighters” during his time in Asia.
The most compelling investigation Zieber has been on? In the UFO community, Alberta is well-known for cattle mutilations. As in, cows found dead in the pasture, drained of all blood.
He was called to one near the hamlet of Madden, about 240 km south of Edmonton, where some cows were drained and the eyeballs removed.
He said there was no rational explanation on how cows could be slain like that. He said there were traces of radioactivity in the area and that nearby trees showed signs of charring. It’s one that is still in the unsolved file.
Even amongst those we might call UFO enthusiasts, there are no easy explanations. Donaghey said that’s why Saturday’s symposium is all about sharing ideas, and nothing is off limits.
He’s heard it all, from alien visitation to government false-flag operations to the notion that this reported heightened activity in the sky is a sign of the Rapture.
“Anyone who claims to have all the answers is someone to avoid,” said Donaghey.
Donaghey understands that a lot of people see him as a nut, or someone who has seen things that can be scientifically explained.
But he said that attendees to these events often include the likes of police officers, nurses and doctors.
“We’re not a bunch of wackos.”

UFO captured on video over Massillon? A colorful object was spotted in the sky

MASSILLON – A video circulating on YouTube claims to have captured a UFO hovering over the city on Memorial Day.
But don't count your aliens just yet, local authorities say.
The brightly lit, pulsating object was captured by an amateur videographer on the night of May 26, according to a YouTube post by FringeArchives.
The one-minute, 44-second video shows a multicolored device circling in the air. Blue, green, purple and red colors are seen from the object, along with a white, yellow haze that surrounds it.
Tim Warstler, director of the Stark County Emergency Management Agency, is a skeptic. He said his office has never received an official UFO call or notification.
"We've had strange calls on things that happen, like a boom or meteor sighting,” he said. “In 24 years, I don’t recall one about an actual UFO."
Warstler reviewed the YouTube video and said the flying object appears to be a drone or perhaps "a flashing party light on a helium balloon."
"There are so many drones out there, and sometimes there are pranks," he said.
A lighted, celebratory Memorial Day balloon may have flown away at night, Warstler speculated.
"There's definitely something up there," he said while watching the video. "A UFO is anything in the sky you can’t identify."
According to its website, FringeArchives is a destination for UFO sightings, alien encounters, government conspiracies, paranormal mysteries, secret space programs, extraterrestrial life, cryptids, ancient aliens and unexplained phenomena.
Massillon police Lt. Nick Antonides said he had not been notified or heard of any recent UFO sightings in the city.
Police officers do operate department drones on occasion to get an aerial view of property for an investigation or incident, as well as to help locate a missing person, Antonides said.
Christian McCauley, marketing and communication manager for Akron-Canton Airport, said calls typically aren't made to the airport regarding UFOs.
"We don't see much of that (by phone) or on our social media," he said. "It'd be kind of fun, but no."
McCauley referred The Independent to the airport's air traffic control tower, where an official declined to comment.
The YouTube video isn't the first posted claiming UFO activity over Massillon. There are multiple videos dating back to 2012.

Christopher Mellon: “The world is not ready” for the truth about UFOs

Former Pentagon official Christopher Mellon says the world isn’t ready for UFO disclosure – and what he revealed at a major UAP event might change everything.
At a recent SOL Foundation event, former top US intelligence official Christopher Mellon made a chilling claim – “the world is not ready for what the disclosure will reveal.”
Mellon has played a central role in modern UAP disclosure and isn’t one for exaggerating. In a growing arena of extraterrestrial interest, his warning isn’t just dramatic, it may signal a shift from advocacy to urgency.
Who is Christopher Mellon?
Mellon is the former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence under Presidents Clinton and Bush.
He helped leak the 2017 Pentagon UFO videos to the New York Times. Mellon is a huge advocate for whistleblower protection and is a long-term critic of the US government's secrecy around UAPs.
In a brand new video, released June 4th on YouTube: “We are not alone — a reflection on UAP & humanity’s cosmic context,” there are several profound and thought-provoking points to explore.
The speech, given at Scientific Organization for the Liberation of knowledge on UAPs and related phenomena’s event in May, mentioned the discovery of exoplanets as compelling evidence that we’re not alone.
“Billions of habitable planets likely exist— making it mathematically irrational to believe we are alone,” explains Mellon.
This fits in with the idea that we may be under direct observation or having contact with “another civilisation far older and more advanced than our own,” which has been reflected recently in other places, with alluring discoveries of ethereal art.
Notably, Mellon’s experience in American special operations points to affirmations like military sightings, sensor data, and pilot testimony that have been dialled up in the last couple of years.
Truth deeper than fiction
Mellon challenges the idea that visitors must be biological. He proposes that advanced civilizations may send autonomous, self-replicating machines – via von Neumann probes – capable of enduring the vast timescales of interstellar travel.

"I think I've done enough": Director Ridley Scott on his return to 'Alien' franchise

Filmmaker Ridley Scott, who is best known for directing the 'Alien', was amazed at how far the franchise came after several directors, including James Cameron and David Fincher, joined it.
Despite the enormous success, the director believes that he has done "enough" for the franchise, signalling no potential return to the 'Alien' franchise, reported Variety.
In an interview with ScreenRant, as quoted by Variety, the actor said that "I've done enough" when it comes to the "Alien" franchise, which he started 46 years ago.
Scott produced last year's well-reviewed 'Alien: Romulus' movie, and is currently serving as an executive producer on Noah Hawley's upcoming FX series 'Alien: Earth.'
But it appears Scott's days of directing "Alien" projects are over. As he summed up: "Where it's going now, I think I've done enough, and I just hope it goes further," quoted Variety.
While sharing his views on the 'Alien' franchise, the director said there was a time when he thought the series was as good as dead.
Scott directed 1979's 'Alien' before handing the franchise to James Cameron for 1986's 'Aliens.' The series then took stumbles with divisive entries from the likes of David Fincher ("Alien 3") and Jean-Pierre Jeunet ("Alien Resurrection").
"I think I felt it was deadened after 4. I think mine was pretty damn good, and I think Jim's was good, and I have to say the rest were not very good.
And I thought, 'F***, that's the end of a franchise which should be as important as bloody 'Star Trek' or 'Star Wars,' which I think is phenomenal. At least, I think the first one by George is seminal. It was as seminal as '2001.'
To me, it was that important in terms of film language and where you go next," said Ridley Scott as quoted by Variety.
After directing 'Alien', the director returned to direct 'Prometheus', which marked his return to the franchise.
"A number of years after, I said, 'I'm going to resurrect this,' [and wrote] 'Prometheus' from scratch - a blank sheet of paper. Damon Lindelof and I sat then hammered out 'Prometheus,'" Scott said of reviving the franchise in 2012 after a 15-year hiatus as quoted by Variety.
He continued, "It was very present and very welcome. The audience really wanted more. I said, 'It needs to fly.' No one was coming for it, [and] I went once again [and made] 'Alien: Covenant,' and it worked too.
Where it's going now, I think I've done enough, and I just hope it goes further," as quoted by Variety. As per the outlet, next up for the 'Alien' franchise is the debut of 'Alien Earth' on August 12 and an undated film sequel to 'Alien: Romulus' that will likely feature the return of director Fede Alvarez.

Secret CIA Program Claimed Human-Like Aliens Were Found On The Dark Side Of The Moon

A declassified CIA file claims a secret government program found alien life on the dark side of the moon more than 25 years ago.
Not only that, there was supposedly a secret complex of towers and buildings on the moon’s surface where the aliens worked.
This declassified CIA file was part of a program which conducted experiments with people who claimed they were able to perform something called “remote viewing” in which they could see a distant or unseen subject using just their mind.
The CIA spent millions of dollars researching the claims of these “psychic spies” between the years of 1977 and 1995 before shutting down the secret program.
According to one of these remote viewers, Ingo Swann, claims U.S. government officials knew there was an alien base on the moon.
He also claimed, according to a new report by DailyMail.com, that these aliens, which he said “looked exactly like us,” could sense his presence when he viewed them with his mind.
“I found towers, machinery, lights of different colors, strange-looking buildings… I found bridges whose function I couldn’t figure out,” he claimed. “There were a lot of domes of various sizes.”
At one point, he said that during this remote viewing session, “Two of [the aliens] pointed in my direction. How could they do that… unless… they have some kind of high psychic perceptions, too?”
Ingo Swann, who wrote a book about his experiences, also reported that when he asked why NASA or the United States military hadn’t returned to the moon since 1972, one U.S. government official told him, “They somehow have told you to stay away.
That’s why you are resorting to psychic perceptions. They are not friendly, are they?”
Many of these remote viewing sessions conducted by the CIA were done under the code name Project Stargate, but not this one, according to Swann, who did do work for that program.
He says for this session, which took place in 1975, he was blindfolded and flown out by helicopter to a secret underground base and told, “We want you to go to the Moon for us, and describe what you see,” but he wasn’t allowed to talk about it for “at least 10 years.”
So that’s what he did.
