Rubio announces sanctions on International Criminal Court judges

The U.S. sanctions targeted four judges, two of whom authorized arrest warrants for top Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new sanctions Thursday on four judges of the International Criminal Court, two of whom voted to authorize an ICC investigation of U.S. military actions in Afghanistan and two who authorized arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, the former Israeli defense minister.
