There has to be so much evidence connected to this event, that it should be impossible to hide.
There is the launch and all associated with it - all traceable to someone.
There is the F-16, pilot & ground crew who KNOW that ordinance was expended.
There is the downed missile. If it was a nuke, there is material that MUST be recovered (if recoverable). Meaning an active search had to take place - more assets KNOW - ships/Captains/some crew.
Then we have the whole city of people who saw the launch - sure they were told an unscheduled test or some cover.
