I think it was simple contrasting, and the narrative is that what the MSM DOES NOT REPORT is as troubling as what they do report.
I think people hearing of this attack would be LESS divided, especially now. There will be no fixing those with TDS - they will be written off due to their lack of ability to do anything but react emotionally to immediate stimulus. Those without TDS are becoming more observant and critical in their thinking approach.
