US diverted military aid for Kiev to Middle East – Zelensky

Tens of thousands of anti-drone missiles were promised to Ukraine by the Biden administration, Vladimir Zelensky has said

US President DonaldTrump’s administration has diverted a large military aid package his predecessor promisedto Kiev to American forces in the Middle East, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has told ABC. The package included thousands of anti-drone missilesUkraine desperately needsto fight Russia’s long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), he said.

TheUkrainian leader raised the issue in an interview with ABC News’ Martha Raddatz which aired on Sunday. When asked about the importance of US support,Zelensky admitted that the Ukrainian military was struggling to deal with Russian UAVs on its own.

“We have a lot of problems with these Shaheds,”he said, referring to Russian Geran-2 long-range drones, which Kiev claims to be Shahed-family UAVs allegedly supplied to Moscow by Tehran. Both Russia and Iran have previously denied the allegations.

The Ukrainian leaderthen revealed that Kiev had not received a major aid package it was “counting on.” Former US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austinpromised Ukraine 20,000 anti-drone missiles that were based on a “special technology,”Zelensky claimed. Austin served as the secretary of defense under Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden.

“[This] morning, my minister of defense told me that the United States moved them to the Middle East,”Zelensky said, adding that, without the US military assistance, Russia has “more chances” of winning the war and Ukraine will have “much more losses.”

Earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Pentagon was “redirecting a key anti-drone technology earmarked for Ukraine to American forces” in the Middle East.

President Trump has frequently questioned continued military support for Ukraine, and has pushed Moscow and Kiev to reach a peace deal. Earlier this week, he also said thatit might be betterto let Russia and Ukraine continue fighting “for a while” before “pulling them apart.”

Defense SecretaryPete Hegseth– a critic of the US involvement in the Ukraine conflict –skipped a NATO meeting this week focused on coordinating military aid to Ukraine, in the first such instance since the conflict escalated in 2022.

According to the WSJ, theTrump administration “inherited” the authority to provide Ukraine with $3.85 billion worth of weapons but has refrained from doing so.

Moscow has repeatedly condemned foreign arms shipments to Kiev by arguing that they do not change the course of the conflict, only lead to escalation, and extend human suffering.

(This happened the day or two after Ukraine with others, bombed Russia’s nuclear defense and many civilian areas. If Zelensky thinks him telling this to US news is going to change Trump’s mind or influence the Admin, his guilt shaming doesn’t work hereTime to work out peace with Russia asshole. Trying to cause WWIII is not going to happen. No wonder everyone at NATO don’t want to piss Trump off.)

Ukraine planned drone attack on Russian ships in Asia – WaPo

Kiev considered targeting the Pacific Fleet with unmanned surface vessels, according to the paper

Ukraineplanned to strike Russian warships in the Asia-Pacific with drones similarly to how it attacked airbaseshosting the country’s strategic bombers, the Washington Post has reported.

Last Sunday, Ukraine targeted Russian airbases across the nation – from Murmansk in the Arctic to Irkutsk in Siberia – in a coordinated assault, which involved explosive-laden UAVs taking off from commercial trucks. Kiev claimed that its so-called ‘Operation Spiderweb’ damaged or destroyed several dozen Russian military aircraft, including Tu-95 and Tu-22 nuclear-capable long-range bombers. According to Moscow, most of the incoming drones were shot down, and none of the affected Russian planes were damaged beyond repair.

The Washington Post said in an article on Thursdaythat “Ukraine has considered a naval version of the sneak-attack tactic” it used against the Russian bases a week ago.

According to the paper’s sources,Kiev’s intelligence services “weighed sending sea drones hidden in cargo containers to attack ships of Russia and its allies in the North Pacific.”

“But, so far, they apparently have yet to launch these operations,” WaPo added.

Russia’s Pacific Fleet has its headquarters in the city of Vladivostok, which is located in the country’s Far East, some 45 kilometers from the border with China and 134 kilometers from the border with North Korea.

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin told him on the phone that Moscow “will have to respond” to all of Kiev’s attempts to target its strategic aviation.

This week, the Russian Defense Ministryreported several large-scale strikes using drones and long-range precision-guided weapons against Ukrainian defense industry enterprises; military airfields; drone production, storage and launch sites; arms depots as well as the deployment points of Ukrainian military units and foreign mercenaries.

However, Reuters reported on Saturday, citing unnamed US officials, that Washington believes that Moscow’s retaliation “has not happened yet in earnest and is likely to be a significant, multi-pronged strike.” One of the sources said that the Russian response is expected within days.

Since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022, Kiev has repeatedly deployed its naval drones against the vessels and bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet as well as against the 19 km Kerch Bridge, which connects Crimea with mainland Russia. Most of those unmanned surface vessels have been destroyed, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

(There’s no way Ukraine are planning these alone, rogue CIA, Military and others.)

New Russia sanctions bill ‘on hold’ over Trump’s stance – Bloomberg

The senators behind the “bone-crushing” legislation are not willing to challenge the White House, according to the outlet

(Linsey Graham the traitor to America proclaimed himself the savior of Ukraine and said the President can’t stop our sanctions, he said he had 96 veto proof senators to pass the sanctions. When will Graham go to Gitmo)

The latest drive in the US Congress for more sanctions on Russia, spearheaded by Senator Lindsay Graham,is now stalled due to President Donald Trump’s opposition, Bloomberg reported over the weekend.

The “bone crushing” legislation that would impose a 500% tariff on countries that buy Russian energy, uranium, and other raw materials has more than 80 co-sponsors in the Senate, which Bloomberg described as “veto-proof backing.”But lawmakers are still hesitant to challenge the president, the outlet claimed.

Earlier this week, Trump said he had not even looked at the bill andwould only consider sanctions “at the right time.” His position “put the brakes” on a push to advance the measureas soon as this month, according to Bloomberg.Graham has previously said he planned to do so before the G7 summitscheduled for June 15-17 in Canada, but the effortis now “on hold,”Bloomberg reported.

On Thursday, the Republican senator wrote on X that he had “coordinated closely with the White House in this endeavor from day one,”adding that the bill was only aimed at giving Trump “more tools when it comes to Russia.” (Liar, he said he would override Trump.)

The bill’s Democrat co-sponsor Richard Blumenthal told Bloomberg that he and Grahamwere still working on making the bill “more acceptable” to the White House.

On Thursday,Trump told journalists he had a “deadline” in his “brain” and would decide when to act if it became clearthat a peace deal between Moscow and Kiev could not be reached. He also stated that he was willing to impose sanctions against both Russia and Ukraine.

The president said thatthe Senate’s sanctions bill would be “guided by me,”but suggested it might be better to let Russia and Ukraine continue fighting “for a while” before “pulling them apart.”Trump also expressed his concern about recent Ukrainian drone attackson long-range nuclear-capable Russian bombers, saying it had increased the risk of escalation by giving Moscow a reason to retaliate.

Moscow has accused Kiev of escalating its attacks in an effort to undermine US-backed peace talks. Russia has also claimed that Trump is receiving “filtered” information about the conflict from those pushing Washington to support Ukraine.

ABC News Suspends Senior White House Correspondent (Moron) for Revealing Extreme Media Bias Against President Trump

June 8, 2025 | Sundance |

After agreeing to pay $15 million to President Trump from a previous lawsuit, apparentlyABC executives are not in the mood for more anti-Trump bias revelations within their ranks. ABC News has suspended Senior White House Correspondent Terry Moran for a Twitter rage against President Trump and Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller.

Moran sent the following Tweet last night, which -subsequent to the sunlight it contains about his bias- he apparently deleted. However, not before several people noticed it, including the White House Press Secretary.

ABC Responded to the mask dropping by suspending Terry Moran for not concealing his bias.

WASHINGTON DC – Veteran ABC News correspondent Terry Moran was suspended Sunday after he posted a highly critical assessment of President Donald Trump and Trump’s deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on the social media platform X.

In the missive, which was posted shortly after midnight, Moran said both Trump and Miller are “world-class haters.” For Trump, he said, hatred is “only a means to an end, and that end is his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”

For Miller, on the other hand, “hatreds are his spiritual nourishment,” Moran charged. “He eats his hate.”

Moran — who landed a rare Oval Office interview with Trump in April — later deleted the tweet and didn’t post anything further.

On Sunday morning, Trump administration officials condemned Moran and said the post reflected poorly on ABC News as an institution. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt publicly pushed ABC to discipline Moran.

[…] About one hour later, the news division saidMoran, its senior national correspondent and former “Nightline” anchor, had been suspended.

“ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others,” a spokesperson said in response to CNN’s inquiry about Moran. “The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation.” (MORE)

June 8, 2025 | Sundance |

The blood slowly drains from the face of Margaret Brennan as she faces the indefatigable smiling truth that Kevin Hassett represents. The furrowed brows deepen, the lips pulsate to a purple posture, the accusatory sanctimony drips from her squints and failed constructs until ultimately, she is reduced to a sneering inflection of autonomous twitching.

Kevin Hassett smiles, thanks Ms. Brennan for her endeavors, outlines the White House position on the BBB and China trade negotiations, then happily orders an ice-cream cone for his walk back to the office on a bright sunny day.
