I brought up 18 USC 242 once in a cordial debate with a local LEO acquaintance… and i was a bit shocked how fast he insisted that that didn't exist.
I bit my tongue thinking to myself… "If it doesn't exist, then how do ya know about it so fast???"
I suppose it was good i kept that thought to myself at that time.
