'EXISTENTIAL THREAT': U.S. ambassador to NATO warns Iran 'close to nuclear threshold'

U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker joins 'Fox & Friends' to discuss President Donald Trump pulling military families from mideast bases as tensions with Iran grow and Russia's attack Ukraine civilians amid Zelenskyy's calls for peace. (Whitaker repeating the lies of Kiev and Zelensky, maybe he’s the one telling lies about Russia as the aggressor to Trump. Russian targets military and gov targets not civilians, but it’s possible some were in those areas. Kiev intentionally builds military offices, warehouse etc in Civilian areas for cover.)

Trump could lead both US and Israel – Witkoff

The president’s special envoy has called his boss an “incredible friend” of the Jewish people

US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff has quipped that Donald Trump could serve as both US president and Israeli prime minister. While Trump has traditionally positioned himself as strongly pro-Israel, Witkoff’s remarkscome amid reports of a strong rift between the US leader and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Speaking at a fundraising gala for the emergency response group United Hatzalah in New York on Wednesday, Witkoff described Trump as “an incredible friend to the Jewish people.”

“No disrespect to Prime Minister Netanyahu, who I actually spoke to today, but I think President Trump could be the first sitting president who could be prime minister of Israel at the same time,” Witkoff said, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.

The envoy also stressed that the two countries must act together to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, “no matter the cost.” Tehran has denied that it has plans to develop the weapons, insisting its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.

In October 2022, Trump said he “could easily be PM” of Israel, suggesting that “no President has done more for Israel than I have.”

The Trump administration has typically had close ties with Israel. However, media reports indicate that there are growing policy differenceswith Netanyahu over the war in Gaza and other regional issues.

According to CNN,Trump has urged Netanyahu to end the conflict with Hamas, which has brought unprecedented destruction and loss of life to the Palestinian enclave, while pressuring him to abandon plans for a military strike against Iran.

Tensions have also been fueled by the recent US decision to conclude a ceasefire with the Houthis in Yemen, who back Hamas, and the lifting of sanctions on Syria.

Netanyahu has stated that Israel’s goal remains thecomplete destruction of Hamas, promising last month that“all of the territories of the Gaza Strip will be under Israel’s security control” once the offensive in the enclave is complete. He also dismissed reports of a breakdown in ties with Washington.

(If the ties were sound, why did Trump send Noem to meet with BiBi in Israel, not Trump and it’s rumored Trump is not taking BiBi’s call. We can still support the Jews but why fund a fucking state that has the most amount of Jewish billionaires in the world. They should fund their own country, whose idea was it to give billions to Israel for unending years?)

(Ironic that Israel will destroy the enemy, they intentionally created for more sympathy for Israel. Why doesn’t anyone discuss this?)

US Treasury chief warns against new Russia sanctions

Congress should avoid actions that could harm the peace efforts between Moscow and Kiev, Scott Bessent has said

A proposed package of tougher sanctions against Russia could undermine diplomatic efforts, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said, warning lawmakers of the potential risks of imposing the measures.

The bill in question, spearheaded by Senator Lindsay Graham, calls for 500% tariffs on imports from countries buying Russian oil and gas if Moscow refuses peace talks with Ukraine. Graham also suggested amending the bill to exempt countries that provide military assistance to Ukraine.Critics claim the tariffs risk isolating the US from key global economies. The bill has thus far drawn the support of 82 senators.

Bessent, speaking at a House Committee hearing on Wednesday, said he did not support the proposed bill to tighten sanctions on Russia, urging lawmakers to give the administration of President Donald Trump greater flexibility to negotiate with Moscow and Kiev.

“I would encourage Congress to continue to let this administration have flexibility to support the negotiations. We should be aware of unintended consequences,” Bessent said.

Bessent said “economic tools remain an important facet of the administration’s strategy to end the conflict. All the options are on the table.Treasury is ready to take action to facilitate a durable and lasting peace.”

Russia and Ukraine have both put forward proposals to end the conflict. Moscow’s plan would require Kiev to accept the loss of five regions which joined Russia in referendums, pull back its troops from those regions, and adhere to neutrality.

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky dismissed the proposal as an ultimatumand ruled out territorial concessions or neutrality, while insisting on a full 30-day ceasefire as a precursor to negotiations.

Under former President Joe Biden, Washington cut most ties with Moscow in 2022 over the Ukraine conflict and imposed sweeping sanctions on Russian officials and companies. Trump has since criticized Biden for eschewing diplomacy and vowed to negotiate a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.Moscow has welcomed Trump’s shift in tone but progress on reaching a settlement has been slow. Trump has threatened further measures if no ceasefire is reached but has stopped short of endorsing the Senate sanctions bill.

The US president has also reportedly asked Senate Republicans to delay action on the bill. Senator Roger Wicker, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, saidTrump had indicated he was not yet ready to support it.

(I wonder what Trump threatened Lindsey with? It’s really time for Graham to retire, SC citizens are freakin over him. Trump should pull back his endorsement for him, just for trying to cause WWIII with Kiev. Its obvious Graham was most likely involved in the plans that bombed Russia’s nuclear bombers; he was there a day before it was enacted and was shouting like he was Emperor of Ukraine. I really can’t wait till he’s picked up by military and sent to Gitmo.)

Rubio sends congratulations on Russia Day

The US secretary of state has reiterated his hope for a lasting peace between Moscow and Kiev

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has congratulated the Russian people on Russia Day, while vowing to work toward reaching a resolution of the Ukraine conflict.

Rubio delivered the message on Wednesday, saying “the United States remains committed to supporting the Russian people as they continue to build on their aspirations for a brighter future.”

The secretary of state took the opportunity to “reaffirm the United States’ desire for constructive engagement with the Russian Federation to bring about a durable peace between Russia and Ukraine.”

He added that “It is our hope that peace will foster more mutually beneficial relations between our countries.”

It was the first such public statement by a US secretary of state since 2021, when Antony Blinken marked Russia Day by saying the US is “steadfastly committed to supporting the Russian people as they continue to build on the aspirations outlined in the Declaration of Russian State Sovereignty and their desire to work together with the international community and cooperate peacefully on matters of global concern.”

Russia and the US have had strained relations for years, hitting an all-time low under then-US President Joe Biden following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022.However, since taking office, President Donald Trump has moved to restore direct dialogue with Moscow.

On Tuesday, Russia’s new ambassador to the US, Aleksandr Darchiev, reported that he met with Trump at the White House to present his credentials.

=Darchiev said he promised Trump that the embassy would “do everything to restore Russian-American relations,” adding that he believesthe two great powers “are destined for non-confrontational peaceful coexistence.”

He went on to say that there is now a “window of opportunity” to resume full intergovernmental ties and to seek “mutually respectful and equal solutions” to global problems.

(What Rubio did means a lot to the Russian people, Putin, and especially his lawmakers. There are a lot of hardened ex Soviet Generals that wouldn’t mind a war with the US. Really cool the Ambassador met with PDJT, remember when Lavrov was in meeting with Trump early in his first term. We have a better relationship with Russia than the EU countries. Rubio is the best SOS we’ve seen in a very long time.)

Russia jails Colombian mercenary for 28 years over Kursk Region raid

Colombian national Pablo Puentes Boorghes will serve 28 years in prison and pay a fine (you would think 28 years would have been enough, kek)

A Russian court has sentenced Colombian national Pablo Puentes Boorghes to 28 years in prison for participating in a Ukrainian armed incursion into the country’s Kursk Region. He was also fined 1 million rubles (approximately $12,700).

Russia’s Investigative Committee announced the verdict on Tuesday, stating that Boorghes was convicted of mercenarism, terrorism, illegal border crossing, arms trafficking, and the unlawful possession of firearms.

According to investigators,Boorghes voluntarily joined Ukraine’s 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade in late 2024 and took part in a cross-border assaultaimed at destabilizing the Sudzhansky District of Kursk Region. The Committee said he engaged in coordinated actions designed to intimidate civilians, damage infrastructure, and disrupt local government operations.

Russian forces captured Boorghes near the village of Alexandria during clashes with Ukrainian units. Authorities said he admitted guilt during pretrial proceedings. (They all do, even if they don’t)

According to the verdict, the Colombian will spend the first five years of his sentence in prison, with the remainder in a maximum-security penal colony. Authorities have also confiscated over 230,000 rubles ($2,900) from Boorghes for the benefit of the state.

Russia has repeatedly prosecuted foreign nationals for fighting for Ukraine. In March, a British citizen, James Scott Rhys Anderson, was sentenced to 19 years in prison on similar charges after being captured in the same region. Officials claimed Anderson had entered Russia alongside Ukrainian troops and committed crimes against civilians.

Moscow has consistently warned that any non-Ukrainians serving in Kiev’s military will beregarded as mercenaries and criminals and will not be covered by the Geneva Convention protections usually granted to combatants.

The last estimate on mercenary casualties in Ukraine was given in December by the acting head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, Yulia Zhdanova. She reported, citing Defense Ministry data, that some 15,000 foreign fighters from 110 countries had entered Ukraine since the conflict began, mostly citizens of Poland, the US, and Georgia. Nearly 6,500 of them have since been killed in action, according to Zhdanova.

Russian envoy reveals details of Trump meeting

Ambassador Aleksandr Darchiev discussed the restoration of bilateral ties with the US president

Russia’s new ambassador to the US,Aleksandr Darchiev, said he held a brief but “very constructive” meeting with President Donald Trumpon Wednesday, after formally presenting his credentials at the White House.

Trump held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 4 – their fourth conversation since Trump returned to the White House.

“We agreed on the need to restore ties in accordance with the instructions issuedby Presidents Putin and Trump during their phone conversation,” Darchiev told RIA Novosti at the Russian Embassy following the meeting.

“I assured the president that, in line with the directives I received,I will do everything possible to help restore Russian-US relations and return them to a state of normalcy and common sense,” he added.

“A window of opportunity has opened to rebuild relations on the basis of mutual trust and equality,”the envoy said. “Russia and the United States are destined, as great powers, to have a non-confrontational and peaceful coexistence.”

Darchiev noted thatthe two sides are discussing business initiatives and the resumption of direct flights. He told TASS earlier that the embassy wouldwork toward lifting what he called “absurd” restrictions on Russian diplomatic activity in the US, as well as simplifying visa procedures.

Under former President Joe Biden, the US severed nearly all direct contact with Russia in 2022 over the Ukraine conflict and imposed sweeping sanctions on Russian officials and businesses.Trump has criticized his predecessor for sidelining diplomacyand pledged to broker a peace deal between Moscow and Kiev.

While Moscow has praised Trump and his team for their shift in rhetoric and willingness to engage, no breakthrough has been achieved. Trump has threatened to impose additional measures on Russia if a ceasefire is not reached, but he has not endorsed the sanctions bill currently under consideration in the Senate.

Russia has world’s most advanced nuclear weapons – Putin

The arsenal ensures the country’s sovereignty and the global balance of power, according to the Russian president

Russia possesses the most cutting-edge nuclear weapons in the world, guaranteeing the country’s sovereignty and the global balance of power, President Vladimir Putin has said.

Addressing a government meeting on the national armament program on Wednesday, he urged that “special attention” be paid to the continued development of the nation’s nuclear triad.

‘Nuclear triad’ is a term used to describe the combination of land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine-launched ballistic missiles and strategic bombers, which can carry nuclear payloads. These weapons systems ensure that a nation’s nuclear forces cannot be destroyed in a first-strike disarming attack.

“Now, the share of the state-of-the-art weapon systems and equipment in our strategic nuclear forces comes to 95%,” the president told the meeting, adding that Russia is making “good progress” in this regard.

“That is the highest level among all of the world’s nuclear powers,” Putin stated.

A similar assessment was made by Air Force General Anthony Cotton, the commander of the US Strategic Command.

“Russia is currently in possession of the largest and most diverse nuclear arsenal of any nation,”Cotton said in March 2024, warning that Russia’s capabilities exceed those of the US.

Russia has significantly upgraded its nuclear arsenal in recent years. The Sarmat ICBM was approved for combat duty in September 2023. One of Russia’s most capable nuclear weapons, the Sarmat has an estimated range of 11,000 miles (about 18,000km), with a payload of around ten tons.

Russia should not focus only on nuclear weapons, according to Putin, but should develop a new long-term armament program focused on various types of the most advanced weapon systems and based on the experience gained in the Ukraine conflict.

Moscow and Kiev have heavily relied on drones in the conflict. The Times reported in May that Russia is beating Ukraine in “the drone race”both in terms of development and battlefield use. The newspaper pointed to Russia’s fiber optic drones, which are “altering the physical make-up of the front line, the tactics of the war and the psychology of the soldiers fighting it.”

https://www.rt.com/russia/618989-russia-most-advanced-nuclear-weapons/

This is why NATO are so stupid trying to start a war with Russia, they have a bunch of feckless countries that don’t even fund their own military, but Rutte is determined to start a war with Russia.

The Duo Strike Again: Rubio Fires All Overseas USAID Staff – Gabbard Appears to Have Nabbed Another One 1/2

June 11, 2025 | Sundance |

U.S. Secretary of State / National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, and Director of National Intelligence ODNI Tulsi Gabbard continue making background moves well worth noticing.

Secretary Marco Rubio has moved forward with instructions to fire all overseas USAID staff.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered U.S. embassies around the world Tuesday to move ahead with a directive to fire all remaining staffers with the U.S. Agency for International Development. He said the State Department will take over USAID’s foreign assistance programs by Monday.

A federal judge had temporarily blocked an executive order by President Donald Trump for mass firings at multiple federal agencies, including the State Department, and plaintiffs say Rubio’s reorganization plan appears to violate that court injunction.

The Trump administration says the plan was already underway when the president issued the order, so there’s no possible violation. U.S. District Judge Susan Illston has yet to make a determination. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said Tuesday that Rubio’s directive “wasn’t a surprise.”

“So this was a cable, telling our posts exactly what they were expecting to be told, which is that those positions were being eliminated. So it wasn’t a surprise. It’s nothing new,” she said. “And, it is exactly what we previewed, in February and March of this year.”

Rubio told embassies to stick to the department’s plan “to abolish all USAID overseas positions” by Sept. 30. (link)

Meanwhile, in an ancillary story that only begins to make sense in hindsight, we discover that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, a name very familiar to those who followed the Trump-Russia collusion nonsense, was removed from his DOJ-NSD oversight role and has been transferred to the Federal Reserve office.

(When Trump said Marco is on a very special project, he wasn’t kidding. So the clearing out the overseas embassies had a dual purpose. The real deep, Deep State, hidden overseas and in the bowels of DC. Being removed is the only way to defeat them. What a fantastic plan. Rubio is sneaky and cool.)

2/2

Inspector General Michael Horowitz begins his new position on June 30th, with the announcement date noted as June 6th:

PRESS RELEASE – “Michael E. Horowitz has been appointed to lead the Federal Reserve Board’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) effective June 30, 2025. By statute, the Federal Reserve’s OIG also serves in that same role for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), an agency financed by, but autonomous from, the Federal Reserve. The OIG is tasked with making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the agencies, as well as preventing and detecting waste, fraud, and abuse.” (more)

♦ The press release date about Horowitz’s move becomes interesting when contrast against the timing of the Intelligence Community hit against DNI Tulsi Gabbard, also on June 6th.

WaPo …”Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard installed one of her top advisers to a position within the office of the inspector general of the intelligence community, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter. […] The adviser, Dennis Kirk, was placed within the watchdog office on May 9, but reports to the DNI, according to one of the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity. […] In a statement to The Washington Post, Gabbard’s press secretary, Olivia Coleman, accused the intelligence community inspector general of failing to fulfill “the responsibility to be an independent organization unbeholden to partisan interests.” Coleman said that Kirk was assigned to the watchdog office as part of the transition team and found “evidence of overwhelming and intentional politicization by the current IC IG team.” (details here)

The timing here does not appear to be, well, coincidental. Remember, Horowitz is part of the ICIG system because he has IG oversight for the DOJ-National Security Division (DOJ-NSD).The departure of DOJ-NSD Inspector General Michael Horowitzis made simultaneous tothe ICIG pushing leaks about DNI Tulsi Gabbard having put Dennis Kirk inside the ICIG to keep an eye on them.

[As an ancillary footnote, Inspector General Michael Horowitz was installed as the inspector general of the DOJ in April of 2012. The story that exploded in April 2012 was the IRS targeting of ‘conservative’ and ‘patriot’ groups, which originated from within…. wait for it…. the DOJ.]
