Senators Bernie Sanders and Angus King will introduce a bill today to ban pharmaceutical manufacturers from using direct-to-consumer advertising.
The bill would prohibit any prescription drug ads through TV, radio, print, and even social media.
The bill comes after repeated calls by current Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to ban prescription drug advertising.
