-Tulsi telling Congress in March that Iran wasn't building a nuclear weapon. Now we're ww3ing because "Iran can't have the nukes."

If this was the first admin, I would chalk it up to imbedded deep state actors sabotaging maga. This time, however, it's (relative) outsiders hand picked by Trump. They're not complete outsiders, but these aren't McCabes & McMasters either.
