I don't agree with this. It's good to celebrate death to a certain extent… liberating. Not to act it out, but to face it and know that it's completely natural.

 

Fear of death is how people become controlled. Movies and religions make death seem like something that is to be avoided, but by embracing it, one can truly live.

Adding to this, he is toughening up many people.

 

Kind of like exposure therapy. One feels good when filtering it out. It's a moral choice. In a society where censorship is going rampant, one doesn't necessarily have the opportunity to make and exercise moral choices.
