Minnesota State Patrol [press conference]: Given the targeted shootings of state lawmakers that happened overnight, we are asking the public to not attend today's planned demonstrations across Minnesota, out of an abundance of caution.
Minnesota State Patrol: There were some flyers that said, 'No Kings', within the suspect vehicle.
Minnesota State Patrol: The individual that is a person of interest that we talked about, or individuals, are not in custody at this time, and so the reference materials in the vehicle that we saw, we have no understanding that any of the 'No Kings' events would be targeted, but we also find it of interest to the public that these would be in there, and we want to alert everybody.
Minnesota Department of Criminal Apprehension: As to the investigation on the list, we are working through that now and talking to individuals…what I would say about the list, is that there's a large number of people.
Watching protest stream from McAllen, Texas. The city is eighty-five percent Hispanic, and protest is all white. No way those people all live in that area, which is right on the border.
Brooklyn Park Police described the suspect as a white male with brown hair, wearing black body armor over blue shirt, and blue pants.
Possible suspect being reported by several on X, citing Minnesota Police source, is Vance Luther Boelter. Was appointed by Walz to a Workforce Development Board in 2019.
I kind of doubt it. Walz is pretty stupid, and it would be best to have him essentially in the dark so he can be put into the media spotlight and appear believable and sincere. Probably the "I don't want to know about it" guy.
