Our constitution guarantees, and the US Supreme Court has long upheld, due process to all persons in the US, not only citizens. The order followers believe it says whatever "authority" says it says.

It's the same concept. Don't read it and understand it for yourself, just believe whatever "Authority" tells you, then you don't have to think for yourself.
If POTUS and your superiors tell you it's a lawful order, though the constitution in plain wording says otherwise, while the courts say it's not lawful, do you follow it or not?

The oath is to obey LAWFUL orders and to protect and defend the constitution, not obey unlawful orders that violate the constitution, as upheld by the courts, because the president says so.
