THISis why, with all the many things to be addressed and corrected in the US since the last 4 years of Biden and of course Obama, our coinage should not be reduced. If anything, POTUS should address the poor art on our coins, fire the artist who has been in that position and replace with a great artist. We need the copper penny. Such bluster of it costing too much while ignoring much greater areas of waste. We do not want this to happen to us! Have you looked at our quarter lately? George Washington looks pathetic! Lincoln would be insulted if he knew his coin was being decommissioned. A country's coinage and paper money is so very important and it should look it to the hilt!
I watched streamers yesterday and late last night. They all said the same thing..not thousands of people like the protestors wanted. Nothing but scragglers with spray cans of paint and upside down American flags and fake ooutrage. I say that picture is fake.
