Personally, I'd have headed south. Less distance that way to get out of Minnesota. Then head east or west a while then go back north, however, it would seem that Canadian authorities would have been requested to be on watch for the suspect and/or his spouse.

This person is pushing 60 for pity sake. He's a little old to be doing this stuff. I'd guess a younger person would be more likely to be motivated to carry out something like that.
Oh, and his 'list' of targets. He had much bigger fish on that list, yet he starts where he did, acknowledging he might not live for long, so not long enough to get many of his goals accomplished.

Some media stating the board or commission to which suspect was appointed is bipartisan. People seem to be overlooking that. Suspect was appointed by previous gov Dayton in addition to being appointed by that jackass Walz.
