Dozens Of Iranian Missiles Hit Northern, Central And Southern Israel (Videos)

Iran launched dozens of ballistic missiles at northern, central and southern Israel on June 15, causing casualties and material losses.

In the afternoon, the Islamic Republic launched a small barrage of missiles, sending millions to bomb shelters in northern and central Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) later said that most of the missiles were intercepts. No casualties or damage was reported.

A larger barrage, reportedly made up of more than 40 missiles, was launched later in the evening. This time, multiple impacts were reported from northern to southern Israel.

Seven people were injured in the northern city of Haifa and another in a town near Kiryat Gat in the south, with one person moderately hurt and the rest lightly injured, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service. Nine people were also treated for acute anxiety.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that the missile strikes were a part of Operation True Promise 3, which was launched in retaliation to Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear program.

Israeli intelligence facilities were targeted, according to the guards. Iranian media also reported that a facility of Israel’s defense giant Rafael Advanced Defense Systems was hit.

Iranian retaliatory strikes have so far killed 14 Israelis and left more than 435 others wounded. Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic has reported the death of at least 224 people, including over 70 women and children, in the ongoing Israeli attack, and said that more than 1,481 others have been wounded.

The IDF is intensifying its strikes on Iran. Despite this, the Islamic Republic’s missile strikes are becoming more and more lethal.

So far, Iran has kept its strikes limited, launching only a few dozens in each barrage. Tehran is apparently expecting a long confrontation. Still, the coming days could see more extensive Iranian strikes, if Israel continues to escalate.

Trump's blistering response to Tucker Carlson's claims he abandoned 'America First'

Donald Trump made it clear he is still the leader of the MAGA movement after Tucker Carlson suggested he's abandoned 'America First' principles to support Israel.

'Well, considering that I'm the one that developed America First, and considering that the term wasn't used until I came along, I think I'm the one that decides that,' he said.

The former Fox News host has poked at conservatives of late for pushing Americans to follow Israel in their preemptive strikes against Iran into what Carlson describes as an 'all out war.'

In a newsletter sent out Friday, Carlson called his long-time ally Trump 'complicit in an act of war,' while he slammed conservatives close to the president as 'warmongers' in a social media post the same day.

Trump told The Atlantic he was not familiar with Carlson's comments but said the framing he used of 'warmongers and peacemakers' as naive.

'For those people who say they want peace - you can't have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don't want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon - that's not peace.'

'Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, very simple. Regardless - Israel or not Israel - Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb,' the president added.

In a sensational development Sunday, two US officials revealed that the president vetoed an Israeli plan this week to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Anthony Albanese and Dan Andrews wine and dine at luxury Melbourne restaurant just days before the PM meets with Donald Trump

Anthony Albanese was spotted being wined and dined by Dan Andrews in a luxury Melbourne restaurant just days before he was due to meet Donald Trump.

The pair were pictured tucking in to a long lunch last Wednesday at the upmarket eatery Gimlet at Cavendish House in Melbourne's CBD.

They reportedly caught up over several hours while enjoying drinks as their security detail kept a discreet eye.

Footage of the two leaders, first published by the Herald Sun, showed both men chatting and looking relaxed in open-neck shirts.

Albanese was helped into his overcoat by a member of staff before leaving by a side entrance, while the former Victorian Premier picked up the bill.

The high-end restaurant, where half a southern rock lobster baked in saffron and sauce rouille costs a cool $320, plays frequent host to celebrities and world leaders.

Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle dined there during his speaking tour in 2023, while pop star Harry Styles was also spotted in the restaurant during the Melbourne leg of his tour in the same year.

Albanese and Andrews are old friends and once shared a flat together in Canberra in the late 1990s.

Daniel Andrews is a friend of mine and he's been a friend of mine for a long period of time,' Albanese told 3AW in February.

'We shared, famously, shared a flat for a little while in Canberra when he was a staffer.'

However, the lunch may not sit well with some, as Andrews remains a deeply divisive figure in Victoria.

The former premier has effectively been banned from several Melbourne businesses and social venues due to ongoing resentment over his hardline leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among his critics is former AFL player Paul Dimattina, who owns Lamaro’s Hotel in South Melbourne.

He told Daily Mail Australia Andrews was not welcome at his venue, slamming the prolonged lockdowns that crippled small businesses and the hospitality sector.

Mr Dimattina said Andrews was 'easily the most hated person in Victoria'.

The backlash hasn't been limited to restaurants.
