Tehran dismantles Mossad sabotage network behind suicide drone attacks
JUN 16, 2025
Iranian security forces have announced the thwarting of Mossad-operated drone production plots aimed at undermining the country’s air defenses and military capabilities as part of Israel’s war against the country.
According to Iranian media reports, authorities raided a three-story building on the outskirts of Tehran on 15 June, uncovering a facility for assembling drones and explosives.
Iranian police released footage showing a large cache of small drones and explosives seized by authorities at the site on Sunday.
Footage from Sunday also showed an Iranian police officer chasing a truck filled with drones, which was eventually intercepted and seized.
In two separate operations, the Rey County Special Police Command identified and arrested two Mossad internal agents in Fashafoyeh,” said Iranian police spokesman Brigadier General Montazer al-Mahdi, according to Tasnim news agency.
“More than 200 kilograms of explosives and equipment for 23 drones, launchers, guidance devices, and controllers, along with a Nissan car, were discovered and seized from these individuals,” he added.
Iranian journalist and contributor to The Cradle, Fereshteh Sadeghi, confirmed that “Tehran police captured 200 kilograms of explosives and a workshop in Shahr-e Rey, south of Tehran where suicide drones were equipped with explosives and launched,” adding that “Sunday’s discovery happened after a drone attack on Shahr-e Rey’s fuel depot.”
Sadeghi noted that a significant number of the attacks carried out against Iran since the start of Israel’s US-backed war were launched from inside the country by spies employed by Tel Aviv.
“Iranian citizens have a big role in finding bombs or exposing Israeli agents. Volunteers have established checkpoints, stopped suspicious trucks or pickups and inspected their cargo.
It has led to discoveries in the past two days and a decline in attacks in the past 24 hours,” she added, stressing that “the Iranian establishment has a difficult task after the end of this war: to conduct a purge on Israel’s collaborators.”
On Monday morning, Iranian authorities announced the execution of a Mossad agent.
Israeli officials cited by Axios last week claimed Tel Aviv’s operation against Iran was launched after eight months of planning.
According to the Times of Israel, Mossad operatives built a covert drone launch base inside Iran. The operation involved smuggling weapons into Iran, disabling air defenses, and launching drone and missile strikes near Tehran.
The Guardian also noted that Mossad agents were embedded near Iranian air defense sites. These sites have been targeted by drones launched internally.
Over the past 48 hours, Iranian air defenses have been highly active and continue to intercept Israeli projectiles, as Tel Aviv launches nationwide attacks on Iran.
Reports from last week said Iranian defenses were subjected to sabotage at the onset of Israel’s war, and took several hours to be repaired.

Long-range drones to fly across UK’s critical national infrastructure
16 Jun 2025 12:00
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved operational authority for independent drone advisor Drone Major to conduct the country’s first beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone flights over the UK’s critical national infrastructure (CNI), such as the UK’s rail network in complex, built-up areas.
The approval was possible as a result of national rail transport infrastructure company Network Rail enabling and funding tests and trails designed to offer the potential to vastly improve the safety, speed and efficiency of the UK railway service – initially enabling long-range drones to patrol over the UK’s rail networks – while also delivering savings calculated to be in the region of many millions of pounds per year.
“We’re working with companies to make drone operations beyond visual line of sight a safe and everyday reality, contributing to the modernisation of UK airspace and enabling new technology into our skies,” said Sophie O’Sullivan, director of future of flight at the Civil Aviation Authority.
“By supporting projects ranging from critical infrastructure inspections to consumer deliveries, we are gathering essential data to shape future policies and regulations and support the growth of the aerospace industry.”
The BVLOS drones will be able to operate in non-segregated airspace – that is airspace that allows all traffic, including both manned and unmanned aircraft, to operate under established procedures.
CAA authorisation also paves the way for possible imminent trials of the technology in partnership with Network Rail on a critical 12km route between Wolverhampton and Sandwell & Dudley Station in England’s West Midlands.
Drone Major’s technology has already been tested along the rail corridor south-east of Wolverhampton station and the Severn Valley Railway lines, presenting an opportunity to significantly speed up the verification and interception of trespassers, thereby reducing delays to trains in a critical and very busy area, potentially also saving lives.
Flying over railways, the drones will operate in what is designated as a defined “safety corridor”, much like aeroplanes, using Drone Major’s Digital Tethering concept to assure the safety of the aircraft’s flight behaviour, minimising risks to those on the ground.
Digital Tethering has been designed to significantly improve safety and increase the efficiency of unmanned aircraft system operations during monitoring and inspection tasks.
It employs a range of onboard navigation and safety systems as well as ground-based technology, to deliver what is said to be a “unique, cutting-edge” capability to the project and enabling reliable autonomous navigation, providing real-time and precise positioning of the drones, particularly in areas along the railway where GPS/GNSS signals are unstable or inaccessible.
The Digital Tethering service began in Wolverhampton before being trialled further afield to include tests, trials and surveys along the Severn Valley Railway.
The drones were able to monitor the UK’s railways, transmitting visual data in real time to operators, providing detection and monitoring of trespassers.
Going forward, Drone Major plans to run additional trials with more CNI organisations in the near future, enabling more complex BVLOS operations across other areas of critical national infrastructure, with potential applications in sectors such as energy, utilities, defence, border management, and what Drone Major calls “sensitive” national infrastructure surveillance.
“The CAA’s approval of operational authority for trials of BVLOS flights marks a landmark moment for the drone industry,” said Drone Major Group founder and chief executive Robert Garbett.
“This milestone opens up new opportunities to unlock and transform the UK’s critical national infrastructure, especially in densely built environments where traditional methods often fall short.
It sets a new benchmark for safety and efficiency, positioning the UK as a world leader in drone innovation while also unlocking innovation to support UK plc.”

Erbil on edge as suspected Iranian drone crashes in Iraq en route to Israel
Updated: JUNE 16, 2025 16:25
An explosion occurred in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq on Sunday evening, the third day of the Israel-Iran war.
Residents said the explosion was caused by a drone and images appeared to show an object on fire falling from the sky.
While not immediately clear if the object was a falling missile or drone, the incident highlights how the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq is on edge during the war.
Rudaw media in Erbil reported, “a loud blast was heard in Erbil early Monday after a suspected drone fell down, reportedly intercepted by the new US consulate compound’s aerial defense system.”
Many Kurds in northern Iraq have always been forced to contend with threats from Iran, Turkey, and Baghdad. This is because the Kurds historically have been denied a state and this has led to many regimes suppressing them.
In northern Iraq, the Kurdistan region is autonomous, meaning it has its armed forces and it has two international airports. However, it is still under pressure, often from its larger neighbors.
In addition, Iranian-backed militias in Iraq have often threatened the region.

Investigation continues into drone activity over RAF bases
June 15, 2025
The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that an investigation remains ongoing into a series of drone incursions over RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Feltwell in November 2024.
The activity, which involved multiple uncrewed aerial systems operating near or above the sites, prompted a military response and temporary disruption to operations.
The update came in response to a written parliamentary question tabled by Gregory Campbell MP. In reply, Defence Minister Luke Pollard stated:
“The Ministry of Defence Police is leading the investigation into drone activity in November 2024 over RAF sites on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and we continue to work in partnership with our allies and the appropriate civilian authorities.
We are unable to release information relating to the ongoing criminal investigation or operational security matters.”
The three RAF sites in question host United States Air Force units and aircraft. During the incidents in November, personnel reported multiple drones operating in a seemingly coordinated manner across several nights.
The US Air Force confirmed unauthorised drone sightings and adjusted flight activity in response.
UK forces deployed counter-uncrewed aerial system capabilities, including the RAF’s Orcus system, which is designed to detect, track and neutralise drones through jamming and signal disruption.
Around 60 personnel were involved in the response. Media reporting at the time suggested the possibility of state-linked surveillance activity, though no official attribution has been made.
The Ministry of Defence has not released any further details and continues to cite operational security.
This week’s written answer is the first public comment from the government on the matter since the incidents occurred.

Former US Air Force Pilot Describes "Shiny" Object In Bizarre UFO Claim
Jun 16, 2025 15:55 pm IST
The search for alien life remains inconclusive, but sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) continue to stir public interest - often without verifiable evidence.
Now, a former US Air Force pilot has shared what he calls his "wildest experience" involving two mysterious objects during his time in service.
Ryan Bodenheimer, who served with the elite Thunderbirds aerobatic team, recounted the sightings in a video on his YouTube channel. He said the stigma around UFO sightings among pilots has faded over the years.
In one incident, while returning from a training exercise near the highly classified Area 51, Bodenheimer claimed an object zipped past his jet at 400 knots (approximately 740 km/h) at 30,000 feet.
He described it as "a silver, unpainted, shiny, reflective" craft shaped like a 3D triangle with wing-like structures underneath and a vertical tail.
"It looked like a futuristic fighter jet - too advanced, almost machine-welded," he said, adding that neither he nor his superiors picked up anything on radar.
The second incident, he said, occurred at a similar altitude when a rectangular object slowly approached from the front left.
"Its edges were so bright they were pulsing," he said. "The centre was clear and slightly coloured." Bodenheimer reported the sighting to Air Traffic Control, though no radar confirmation followed.
Reports about UFO spotting on the rise in the US
According to the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), there were 757 new UFO reports between May 2023 and June 2024. Most occurred in controlled airspace, with no underwater sightings.
Roughly 300 cases have been explained, while the rest remain unresolved.

Watch: Scottish Teens Spot Puzzling UFO
June 13, 2025
A group of Scottish teenagers were left scratching their heads after spotting a large black orb that swiftly and silently moved across the night sky.
According to a local media report, the strange sighting unfolded last Friday evening in the community of Easthouses.
Witness Kyle Jackson recalled that he and two friends were walking along a trail near the local high school "when we all glanced up" and noticed a large black orb overhead.
The bottom of the peculiar object briefly produced a "red/orange light" before briefly going dark after about five seconds.
Observing that the UFO was "the same size as a plane or bigger," Jackson noted that the object appeared to be "traveling a lot faster" than a conventional aircraft.
To that end, the young man argued that the silent nature of the anomaly would seem to preclude it from being a plane or helicopter. He also posited that the object was too big and fast to be a drone.
"The whole situation felt surreal, like something out of a movie," Jackson marveled, "even after I had got home I was still in awe."
Since the incident, the teen said, "I did some research and couldn’t find anything close to what we had seen." As such, he indicated that he and his friends now believe they may have witnessed something otherworldly.
That said, one possibility not put forward by Jackson is that the UFO could have been an errant balloon, which is a scenario suggested by many skeptical viewers.

Strange radio pulses detected coming from ice in Antarctica
June 13, 2025
A cosmic particle detector in Antarctica has emitted a series of bizarre signals that defy the current understanding of particle physics, according to an international research group that includes scientists from Penn State.
The unusual radio pulses were detected by the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) experiment, a range of instruments flown on balloons high above Antarctica that are designed to detect radio waves from cosmic rays hitting the atmosphere.
The goal of the experiment is to gain insight into distant cosmic events by analyzing signals that reach the Earth.
Rather than reflecting off the ice, the signals — a form of radio waves — appeared to be coming from below the horizon, an orientation that cannot be explained by the current understanding of particle physics and may hint at new types of particles or interactions previously unknown to science, the team said.
Once detected and traced to their source, these particles can reveal more about cosmic events than even the most high-powered telescopes, Wissel added, as the particles can travel undisturbed and almost as fast as the speed of light, giving clues about cosmic events that happened lightyears away.
Wissel and teams of researchers around the world have been working to design and build special detectors to capture sensitive neutrino signals, even in relatively small amounts.
Even one small signal from a neutrino holds a treasure trove of information, so all data has significance, she said.
“We use radio detectors to try to build really, really large neutrino telescopes so that we can go after a pretty low expected event rate,” said Wissel, who has designed experiments to spot neutrinos in Antarctica and South America.
ANITA is one of these detectors, and it was placed in Antarctica because there is little chance of interference from other signals. To capture the emission signals, the balloon-borne radio detector is sent to fly over stretches of ice, capturing what are called ice showers.
“We have these radio antennas on a balloon that flies 40 kilometers above the ice in Antarctica,” Wissel said. “We point our antennas down at the ice and look for neutrinos that interact in the ice, producing radio emissions that we can then sense on our detectors.”
These special ice-interacting neutrinos, called tau neutrinos, produce a secondary particle called a tau lepton that is released out of the ice and decays, the physics term referring to how the particle loses energy as it travels over space and breaks down into its constituents.
This produces emissions known as air showers.
If they were visible to the naked eye, air showers might look like a sparkler waved in one direction, with sparks trailing it, Wissel explained.
1/2
The researchers can distinguish between the two signals — ice and air showers — to determine attributes about the particle that created the signal.
These signals can then be traced back to their origin, similar to how a ball thrown at an angle will predictably bounce back at the same angle, Wissel said.
The recent anomalous findings, though, cannot be traced back in such a manner as the angle is much sharper than existing models predict.
By analyzing data collected from multiple ANITA flights and comparing it with mathematical models and extensive simulations of both regular cosmic rays and upward-going air showers, the researchers were able to filter out background noise and eliminate the possibility of other known particle-based signals.
The researchers then cross-referenced signals from other independent detectors like the IceCube Experiment and the Pierre Auger Observatory to see if data from upward-going air showers, similar to those found by ANITA, were captured by other experiments.
Analysis revealed the other detectors did not register anything that could have explained what ANITA detected, which led the researchers to describe the signal as “anomalous,” meaning that the particles causing the signal are not neutrinos, Wissel explained.
The signals do not fit within the standard picture of particle physics, and while several theories suggest that it may be a hint of dark matter, the lack of follow-up observations with IceCube and Auger really narrow the possibilities, she said.
Penn State has built detectors and analyzed neutrino signals for close to 10 years, Wissel explained, and added that her team is currently designing and building the next big detector.
The new detector, called PUEO, will be larger and better at detecting neutrino signals, Wissel said, and it will hopefully shed light on what exactly the anomalous signal is.
“My guess is that some interesting radio propagation effect occurs near ice and also near the horizon that I don't fully understand, but we certainly explored several of those, and we haven't been able to find any of those yet either,” Wissel said.
“So, right now, it's one of these long-standing mysteries, and I'm excited that when we fly PUEO, we'll have better sensitivity. In principle, we should pick up more anomalies, and maybe we'll actually understand what they are.
We also might detect neutrinos, which would in some ways be a lot more exciting.”
The other Penn State co-author is Andrew Zeolla, a doctoral candidate in physics.
The research conducted by scientists from Penn State was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. National Science Foundation. The paper contains the full list of collaborators and authors.

Using the New York Post, the Pentagon is Gaslighting the Public on UFOs — Again
June 7, 2025
t’s becoming increasingly clear that a coordinated narrative is unfolding in the media regarding the Pentagon’s historical use of UFO/UAP disinformation.
The recent article from the New York Post, published June 08, 2025, titled "Pentagon secretly planted Area 51 UFO conspiracy theory to hide secret weapons program," mirrors Wall Street Journal's earlier piece "The Pentagon Disinformation That Fueled America’s UFO Mythology."
Both outlets, wittingly or unwittingly, appear to be complicit in perpetuating a carefully crafted narrative that serves to gaslight the public and obscure the truth about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
The Wall Street Journal article, presents a partial admission of past Pentagon deception—acknowledging that the military fabricated UFO/UAP stories to conceal secret weapons programs like the F-117 stealth fighter.
However, it dismisses credible evidence, such as the 1967 Malmstrom Air Force Base incident where nuclear missiles went offline during a reported UFO/UAP encounter, attributing it to an implausible electromagnetic pulse (EMP) test.
This explanation crumbles under scrutiny, as EMP effects are typically irreversible, yet the missiles returned to functionality shortly after.
The article also ignores international cases, like the 1982 Byelokoroviche incident in Soviet Ukraine, where a UAP triggered a missile launch sequence, further undermining the narrative of mere Cold War pranks or misidentifications.
Now, the NY Post echoes this storyline, highlighting how the Pentagon allegedly planted UFO/UAP conspiracy theories near Area 51 to divert attention from classified projects.
While this aligns with the WSJ’s revelations, it similarly frames the issue as a historical curiosity rather than a continuing cover-up.
The Post’s focus on doctored photos and hazing rituals—like the "Yankee Blue" initiation—serves to trivialize the phenomenon, reducing it to a military prank rather than addressing the mounting evidence of real, unexplained aerial encounters documented by military personnel across decades and continents.
This synchronized media effort raises red flags.
The WSJ and NY Post articles, published in quick succession, suggest a deliberate strategy to condition public perception ahead of the classified Part II of the DoD’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office Historical Record, which congressional staff have indicated has already been delivered.
This could be a form of perception management, akin to the CIA’s Cold War-era Project Mockingbird, where top-tier newsrooms were infiltrated to launder government narratives.
By admitting to past disinformation while dismissing current UFO/UAP evidence—such as the statistically significant patterns of UFO/UAP activity near nuclear sites outlined in the SCU's 2023 UAP Pattern Recognition Study—these articles aim to discredit whistleblowers, control the historical narrative, and perpetuate ambiguity.
The American public deserves transparency, not a recycled playbook of obfuscation. The NY Post’s regurgitation of the WSJ’s narrative underscores a troubling media complicity in the Pentagon’s secrecy.
It’s not just about past myths; it’s about ongoing concealment of phenomena that challenge our understanding of reality.
Congress must act decisively, launching a formal investigation into the DoD’s sustained disinformation campaign.
Take action today by emailing your elected officials and demanding the full truth.
