.@TheCalGuard's 49th Military Police Brigade joins 79th Infantry Brigade Combat team and the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, under the direction of Task Force 51, protecting federal functions, personnel, and property in the greater Los Angeles area.
There are now about 4,100 National Guard soldiers in a Title 10 status and about 700 active-duty Marines.
