You are asking me to believe that a God created everything we know about and don't know about and it was perfect.
then he creates something (us) in his image, put it in a garden and left it exposed to something that was not perfect. Keep in mind, we did not ask to be created, he made that choice. Then somehow somewhere, something he created that was perfect, broke and became not perfect (although that part right there defies logic since if it was perfect, it could not break). Some say it was free will so it was not his fault, but again, something perfect without fault can not create something imperfect so it is a bit of a contradiction.
In any case god left this perfect part of his creation to do perfect things but some how gave them the option to do something that is not perfect, and of course they did that thing.
Now he says, hmmm, my creation is no longer perfect, so I can no longer be around it because in my perfectness I made something that is not perfect and perfect and imperfect can not be next to each other. So…. I am going to create a place for all the imperfection to suffer, and callit hell. Anything that is imperfect gets to go there and not be around me.
As for that creation i made in my image, lets see if it can make itself perfect again and then it can come back to me. Here is the rule, if during its life time of about 70 years, it can become perfect it can come back with me in Heaven, if it does not become perfect, Hell it is for that thing, forever!
So God watches this little play for a while and low and behold his creation that is like him can not become perfect, and he says wait a minute, I love my little creation, so I am going to give them an out, I really don't want them to go to that hell, I think we need a new plan. I am going to create this new rule where I am going to impregnate one of those creatures that I made in my image and can not be around or look upon because I am perfect and they are not, and I will have a son who is perfect and then if that perfect son is killed, he will be able to over come that trap i made that keeps those imperfect creatures away from me and will be able to bring back my chosen creatures and since we changing the rules, anyone who believes in him.
So there we have it, now I as the perfect god have given those creatures a way to not have to go to hell forever and ever. But those who do not like these new rules or don't know about them and do not make the right choice they get to be tortured in hell, because those are the rules and even though I made them, I cannot change them except when I change them.
