I’ve been reading Drudge Report from the very very beginning. 98-99 time frame (ish, if I remember right). Followed the link from the notable about the anon with the cult torture issues from the last bread and was going through their twitter and I’ve actually thought and agree with the sentiment that Drudge is a big part of this kabuki theatre. Prior to the last election cycle, Drudge would feature seriously damaging stuff against the dems, during the election cycle Drudge was very very PRO Trump (kinda pro Cruz / Paul too). Once the election was done, it’s very MSM centric. Headlines don’t bash Trump but the stories don’t help normally. I’ve always been attracted to Drudge because a.) it’s just an easy way to view the days news that is actually relevant and I give a shit about but b.) he came across as a patriot with the headlines. Reason b.) has changed dramatically IMO.

Side note - the other thing that always appealed to me about Drudge was he was an anti-Clinton guy. Specifically, anti-Hillary guy. Doesn’t feel that way as much anymore based on the headlines. I’ve read a ton of articles where Dems actually planned around what Drudge reported, that he ruled the way the narrative was going to go. They feared him and honestly I think he’s a huge reason Trump got the job.

I think he’s playing a role in this play. I think he’s ]ourguy[. (Least I’m hoping so).
