Trying to figure out where all this extra metal came from… The truck looks rather intact as well as the collection bin in the back.. both seem to be still in one piece. Where did all this sheet metal come from?

There were two locomotives on each end… the one that struck the truck was in the older livery with the stripes, while the loco that pulled the train away from the scene was the newer Amtrak livery.

That they backed the train away from the scene says a lot… they perceived a threat to the train or else they would have left it there to maintain evidence on scene. If it were a normal train it would have stayed on scene. It worries me that they were in such a hurry to get to Greenbriar.
