Yep makes total sense. Thats what I thought Alex Jones was doing for awhile, but he might be a white hat now. It would seem he used to take a theory or rumor that was true (9/11 for example), and say some stuff that was true, but then take the theory and say something really insane and run it off the cliff. To either make people not believe the theory to begin with, or to chase away someone who would have otherwise been open to hearing the theory
It was a perfectly timed storm too, because happened in 2018 right as we were getting that big influx of newbies because of the Q popularity rising, and so all the new people were coming here and immediately seeing "JFK Jr is alive" and just taking it and running.
