My 1970's vintage ceramic bong that has traveled the world with me along with two modern blown glass pipes that belonged to my best friend who went to the great head shop in the sky almost two years ago.
Not sure it's connected IMO.
I still get a fair bit but yeah, it seems to be declining quite a bit in the last couple of years.
