The long paper I read...the key point is basically a claim that a disclosure is in the works soon and that the story will be complex.

There are some names for sure. Last year or the year before there was really no one...
I don't really care or know about the groupies, but I know a little something about SOLID and SAFE. Speculative tech for sure, but honest projects with absolutely HUGE implication. Makes all the shitcoins and even bitcoin look like child's play.
It's a bit of a different beast because it not really about digital currency but a decentralized internet and dapps, but IMO, it's the most honest project in tech innovation at the moment.
there are some really "coincidental" things about SAFE as well...
I won't go into the whole list but being about 5 mins away from Trump Golf in Scotland is just the beginning...

I'm open to that possibility. I've been thinking about these things hard for a long time. It could be a CIA thing just as easily. All that said, the tech still speaks for itself. Perhaps the clowns were using it but they don't have control over it.
The bigger question for me is asking about the viability of a decentralized internet...not just money. Does real privacy of data protected by sharding, encryption, etc. just create new conditions for old schemes? Or does it also create new conditions and direct lines of communications for anonymous whistleblowers also...
The philosophical ideas to think about with respect to SAFE and SOLID are much broader than BTC.
