You must be too young to understand what Iran has done to Americans over the last 45 years. They are definitely an enemy of America…the Islamic leadership…NOT the Iranian people.
But Iran is definitely NOT the only threat/enemy to America in that part of the world.

I think there were definitely American hostages taken by Iran in 1979 and that they held them for 444 days.
I believe Carter tried, and failed at least twice to get them released.
I believe Bush 41 flew to Tehran on an SR-71 in 1980 to tell the Ayatollah to keep the hostages until after the election then release them immediately after Reagan was sworn-in or we would turn Tehran into a glass parking lot.
I know that the U.S./CIA were responsible for removing Mosaddegh to install the Shah and then later to remove the Shah to allow the Islamic Caliphate to take control.
My HOPE is that Trump wants to unravel a half-century of bullshit meddling so that the Iranian people can choose their own destiny and sovereignty.
