Iran's parliament voted to block the Strait of Hormuz. The final decision will be made by the National Security Council soon.

 

-The closure could lead to a loss of up to 5 million barrels of oil per day and a rise in prices to $200-300 per barrel.

 

JPMorgan previously estimated a possible jump in prices to $130 and higher in the event of an escalation of the conflict.
