Even if true the great thing is we have wonderful relationships with Saudi Arabia they could fill the entire gap if needed. They could truck the rest to EU if needed… Russia could also help supply. This is the thing that is underestimated this all besides our own oil reserves as well. This where we I believe are not dependent on oil anymore is the thing.
There is no reason to have bad relations with people that are reasonable though.
They only hurt themselves and area relations in this way. Pakistan would sell us oil.
I believe the raw numbers still place Saudi Arabia at 35% but if they go full production it could be over 50% if the Middle East produces they do this to be nice to the other opec countries. This is a fact.
Russia can over and South America and with Texas / Alaska we are more then enough. Likely only need ours but in a good relationship we likely will buy some from other places.
