I realized I’m not upset about Trump doing what he had to do, I’m pissed we listened to Bibi and Israel. I’m sure he and the military confirmed it, but once again Israel dragged us in.

Regardless of what everyone says, I don’t believe Israel is our greatest ally, and I doubt Trump believes that either

I agree, since they think if Israel goes the whole world has got to go. I’ve been hearing that for years. But they’ve had nuclear bombs for many, many years. Didn’t someone say they stole the plans from the Kennedy Admin.

‘No military solutions’ to Israel–Iran crisis – Egypt

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has called for diplomatic efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has called for a diplomatic resolution of the Israel-Iran conflict. Speaking during aphone call on Saturday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, El-Sisi urged the parties to prevent the cycle of violence from expanding.

“There are no military solutions to this crisis,” the Egyptian leader stressed.

According to a presidential spokesman, El-Sisi reaffirmed Cairo’s categoricalrejection of Israel’s continuing military escalation, describing it as “a threat to the security and stability of the Middle East at a critical time when the region is experiencing multiple crises.”

In an earlier statement on Saturday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “deep concern” over the situation in Iran and condemned the rapid military escalation. It also reaffirmed Egypt’s opposition to any violations of the UN Charter and international law, calling for full respect of state sovereignty.

The latest conflict began on June 13, when Israeli fighter jets carried out a wave of strikes on Iranian strategic sites, including the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz. Israeli spies also targeted senior military officials and nuclear scientists in and around Tehran. Iran retaliated by launching dozens of ballistic missiles into Israeli territory. The conflict has continued to escalate since then, with both sides exchanging waves of missiles strikes, forcing populations underground and into hiding.

On Sunday, US President Donald Trump announced that American forces had conducted a large-scale bombing campaign on three Iranian nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan—claiming the facilities had been “completely and totally obliterated.”

The developments have sparked condemnation from several African governments. In a statement on Sunday, the South African Presidency pointed out Pretoria’s “sincerest hope that President Donald Trump would use his influence and that of the US government to prevail on the parties to pursue a dialogue path in resolving their issues of dispute.” The African state called on the US, Israel, and Iran to allow the UN to lead efforts toward a peaceful resolution.

Earlier in June, Algeria’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, during which he reiterated Algeria’s unwavering condemnation of the Israeli strikes. Attaf characterized the attacks as an act of aggression and called on the UN Security Council to intervene and uphold international legal frameworks.

Hollywood seeded Iran war narrative for years – Wikileaks

Jewish screenwriters have allegedly pushed the image of an Iranian nuclear threat through film and TV since the early 2010s

Screenwriters in Hollywood who “say they are Jewish” have been planting pro-war narratives about Iran in mainstream entertainment for more than a decade, Wikileaks has claimed.

Israel launched airstrikes on Iran earlier this month, claiming Tehran was close to creating a nuclear weapon. Over the weekend, the US also directly joined the conflict by bombing Iranian nuclear facilities.

In a post on X on Sunday, Wikileaks stated that Hollywood writers “who say they are Jewish”have been “planting the mental seeds for war with Iran for years,” citing productions such as Top Gun: Maverick, Homeland, 24, and The Fifth Estate.

The group shared a clip of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange’s speech at Oxford Union from 2013. In the video, he discussed The Fifth Estate – a biographical drama about Wikileaks– which opens with a side plot about a fictional Iranian nuclear bomb project.

Assange recalled that the opening scene depicts Iranian scientists in Tehran assembling a bomb, with one character stating that the device could be operational within six months.

“How is it that such a lie got into a script about Wikileaks?”Assange asked, noting that at the time, 16 US intelligence agencies had already found that Tehran did not have a nuclear weapons program.

“It is an attack against Iran,” Assange said, claiming that the scene “fans the flames to start a war with Iran” and served the interests of the “people in the system that want the war.”

Prior to Israel’s latest strikes, both the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and US intelligence agencies stated there was no evidence of an Iranian nuclear weapons program.(IAEA retracted that and then went back it it, they were pressured by Israel and others.)

Nevertheless, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has continued to insist that Tehran was on the brink of creating a bomb – a claim he has repeated for decades. At the UN GeneralAssembly in 2012, he infamously used a cartoon bomb illustration to warn that Iran was “months away” from a nuclear weapon, and made comparable statements throughout the 1990s and 2000s.

Israel’s attack has drawn international condemnation, including from Russia, which has said the strikes were illegal. Russian President Vladimir Putin has called the operation “an unprovoked aggression.”

US involvement in Israel’s campaign has also drawn criticism, with Moscow comparing it to the lead-up to the 2003 Iraq War, which was started over false claims of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

US President Donald Trump’s decision to strike Iran has also met pushback from inside the White House. According to Reuters, Vice President J.D. Vance – an Iraq War veteran – opposed joining the Israeli offensive and warned during internal discussions that Israel was dragging the US into another war.

Body-swap records contradict key Kiev claim – source

Evidence shared with RT undermines a Ukrainian cabinet minister’s insistence that a dead Russian soldier was handed over

Evidence shared with RT contradicts a Ukrainian cabinet minister’s claim the remains of a Russian soldier were returned to Kiev during a recent humanitarian exchange.

Officials in Kiev have accused Moscow of mishandling the remains of Ukrainian troops and including unrelated bodies in order to inflate reported numbers.

The latest exchange saw Moscow hand over 6,060 sets of remains in return for just 78. Kiev maintains that Russian battlefield losses are higher than Ukraine’s, despite Russia’s superior firepower.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko added to the criticism last Thursday with a social media post accusing Moscow of “limitless cynicism.”He cited one particular body bag allegedly containing a deceased Russian soldier, complete with military ID and dog tag.

However, the Russian records regarding the same transfer do not match Klimenko’s description.

Klimenko claimed the corpse handed over by Moscow was dressed in a Russian military uniform, accompanied with Russian documents and a dog tag, identified as Viktor Bugaev.

However, according to the source, the body handed over to Kiev in late January was dressed in a Ukrainian uniform with a military ID and was identified as Nikolay Didyk.

This month, a municipality in Kiev Region published an obituary for a man with the same name and age. Bugaev has been listed by Russia’s Defense Ministry as missing in action since last year.

The source who shared the evidence with RT said the items Klimenko posted —apparently belonging to Bugaev — were put by Kiev separately in a body bag numbered differently to the one he mentioned in the post. Their intact condition, the source noted, suggested they had been stored apart from the remains delivered in the same package.

The source suggested Klimenko may have been misinformed for the sake of shaping public perception of casualties.

The source added that while Ukrainian military intelligence had been handling the repatriation of dead military service members, there had been no hiccups or provocations. However, after the Security Service of Ukraine took over during the latest exchanges, those propaganda stunts had begun.

In April, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview that Ukraine had lost up to 100,000 troops since the conflict escalated in 2022.By contrast, the Russian Defense Ministry estimates that Kiev’s casualties exceeded 1 million by the end of 2024

Following this month’s exchange,Russia says it still holds the bodies of approximately 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers, which it is prepared to return for burial.

The “Next Move” Belongs to Iran

June 23, 2025 | Sundance |

Jonathan Karl is not known for his pragmatic pontification, however in the framework of what comes next following the U.S. bombing of Iran, he’s correct. The next move is entirely up to Iran, and for the moment that puts the decision to escalate outside the control of President Trump.

As Karl outlines,President Trump was adamant the strikes against the Iranian nuclear sites were “one and done.”=

However, the underlying consideration in the background was the contingency planning for what comes next. As Karl accurately notes, this puts the power of escalation in the hands of Iran. If Iran strikes U.S. military facilities, President Trump will be pulled into a larger military response, and so – the potential for the escalation spiral begins.

ABC News Chief Washington CorrespondentJonathan Karl spoke to President Donald Trump about what he hopes these attacks on Iran will accomplish. WATCH:

I think most agree that we do not want to see Iran gaining nuclear weapons power. However, most Americans also do not want to get pulled into a protracted conflict in the middle east again. It is a tenuous moment.

(Trump knows his base would not stand further engagement, he knows this will be a real problem. They including Israel set this up to stop Trumps successful momentum)

Karoline Leavitt Responds to Questions About President Trump’s “Regime Change” Suggestion

June 23, 2025 | Sundance |

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt responded to reporters questions today about President Trump suggesting “regime change” in Iran as an objective. WATCH:

“The President’s posture and our military posture has not changed. The President was just simply raising a question that I think many people around the world are asking. If the Iranian regime refuses to give up their nuclear program or engage in talks – we just took out their nuclear program on Saturday night as you all know – but if they refuse to engage in diplomacy moving why shouldn’t the Iranian people rise up against this brutal terrorist regime? That’s a question the President raised last night. But as far as our military posture, it hasn’t changed.”
