God expelled them from the garden because they just disobeyed instructions and ate from the tree told not to eat from, they now understood and saw good and evil. Had God not expelled them from the garden, they surely, based on the eating, would most certainly now eat from the Tree of Life.

God was kind to do this.

If eating from the Tree of Life, now in their fallen state, eyes open to good and evil and partakers, eating from the Tree of Life would have locked them (us) into forever living in the life of knowledge of good and evil. The Tree of Life once eaten from locks it in forever.

 

I look forward to eating from that Tree of Life once in Heaven, the new Heaven on earth as promised.

 

Only, I will be clean from the original sin and the ones I have committed myself, because I accepted Jesus to bear my sins, he is Savior. When I eat from the Tree of Life it will be locking in all the promises of God for eternity, sin free, all things the way HE intended, before the snake tried to ruin us all.
