IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir said that while the IDF has completed a significant phase, the campaign against Iran is not over, during a situational assessment on Tuesday with members of the General Staff Forum.
Israel and Iran reached a ceasefire agreement, which came into effect Tuesday morning, at 7:00 am.
“We are transitioning to a new phase based on the achievements [against the Islamic Republic of Iran] made in the current campaign,” which he said set back Iran’s nuclear and missile programs by years.
