Dems have held this area for so long, their only response is higher & higher taxes. Something about doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result? How about cutting expenses?? Can't do that because pensions are protected by the State Constitution.

Last amended circa 1972, they saw the flaws and have legally covered their asses. Maybe a Detroit style bankruptcy is needed here. More money for inner city schools that never improve and only pass the students thru the system where the graduates can neither read nor write.

That's not how Japan, Korea and China play the game. Subsidize for market share, then increase prices.

 

$250 a year sounds like retirement location if warm enough in winter!
