Crucial New Detail Emerges From Testimony in “Autopen” Scandal from Oversight Project

by Brian Lupo Jun. 25, 2025

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reported that Neera Tanden, the former White House Staff Secretary, was the person in control of Joe Biden’s autopen from October 2021 thru May 2023, when she was promoted to White House Domestic Policy Council. During the closed-door testimony under oath, Tanden testified that she was authorized to direct the autopen as well but denied either manipulating or abusing the authority.

The Washington Examiner reported that Tanden was given authority to use the pen and "was responsibile for handling the flow of documents to and from the president."

Now, a crucial new detail has emerged regarding the closed-door testimony. According to an Oversight Project press release, Tanden would utilize the autopen without actually verifying from Biden himself that it was an authorized action. From the release:

"…she would send decision memos to Biden's inner circle with no visibility of approval between sending the memo and receiving it back. Tanden's testimony confirms that she affixed Biden's signature onto presidential documents without direct knowledge that Biden authorized the given action.

"Given Biden's clearly deteriorating condition and lack of capacity, it was incumbent on Tanden to actually confirm that Biden himself was capable of and actually making decisions. Instead, it appears that a close cabal of advisors were put between the autopen and the President."

Oversight Project President Mike Howell joined Chanel Rion on OANN's Fine Point to discuss the autopen scandal:

The Washington Examiner also reported yesterday that Tanden "was also authorized to direct that autopen signatures be affixed to certain categories of documents" and that the administration used the "system for authorizing the use of the autopen that [she] inherited from prior administrations" through her tenure as staff secretary.

President Trump earlier this month called the autopen saga "the biggest scandal outside the rigged 2020 election," saying that he wasn't a "big autopen person, fortunately." President Trump added that the autopen is used when you get "thousands of letters from…people all over the country" and that is where the autopen "starts and stops."

President Trump said that Biden "was never for open borders…transgender for everybody…men playing in women's sports…frankly, I said it during the debate and I say it now, he didn't have much of an idea what was going on."

In January 2021, President Trump prophesized that, "The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me, but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes, be careful what you wish for."

“He’s Running Scared” – Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Defies Congress, Abruptly Bails on Scheduled Testimony on Joe Biden’s Cognitive Decline

by Cristina Laila Jun. 25, 2025

The House Oversight Committee on Wednesday said Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Anthony Bernal defied congress and bailed on his testimony on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

“Now that the White House has waived executive privilege, it’s abundantly clear that Anthony Bernal – Jill Biden’s so-called ‘work husband’ – never intended to be transparent about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the ensuing cover-up. With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth. The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction. I will promptly issue a subpoena to compel Anthony Bernal’s testimony before the Committee,” the Oversight Committee said.

“Just yesterday, we heard from our first witness, Neera Tanden, the former Staff Secretary who controlled the Biden autopen. Ms. Tanden testified that she had minimal interaction with President Biden, despite wielding tremendous authority. She explained that to obtain approval for autopen signatures, she would send decision memos to members of the President’s inner circle and had no visibility of what occurred between sending the memo and receiving it back with approval. Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President’s obvious decline. We will continue to pursue the truth for the American people,” the Committee said.

Anthony Bernal was Jill Biden’s ‘work husband’ and wielded tremendous power.

Last month Project Veritas released undercover video of DNC Vice Chair David Hogg admitting Anthony Bernal, was running the Biden White House.

“How corrupt is the DNC if so many knew or few people knew about Biden?” a Project Veritas undercover reporter asked Hogg.

Hogg replied, “The bigger issue was like the inner circle that was around Biden… like Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff [Anthony Bernal] had an enormous amount of power.”

Deterrian Jones, former White House Office of Digital Strategy chimed in, “That was an open secret. I would avoid him. He was scary.”

Bondi DOJ Claims it Cannot Enforce Voter Fraud Crimes because it lacks Powers, Doesn’t Have a ‘Data Guy’

by Assistant Editor Jun. 25, 2025

Maureen S. Riordan is the Senior Counsel, and Acting Chief of the Voting Section, part of the Civil Rights division of the Department of Justice. She was appointed to that role in May 2025.

She is the top elections enforcement official in the Civil Division at the Trump/Bondi Department of Justice.

She has spent nearly her entire professional career at the Department of Justice. Lawyers close to the Department of Justice tell the Gateway Pundit that she’s now the “top dog” for election crimes.

From 2021-2025, Riordan worked for the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which sues states to clean up their voter files. She spent a year in Charlottesville, Virginia filing less than a dozen cases against illegal immigrants for the government. She also prosecuted a man in Virginia for possession of marijuana in the Shenandoah National Park.

This past week, Riordan, according to DOJ sources, has been giving talking points as to why election crimes will not be prosecuted under the second Trump administration. DC Attorneys involved have relayed what Riordan is telling people around town: actual election integrity is impossible.

Trump last week said he wants a ‘special prosecutor’ to investigate the 2020 election. That may be the only way the crimes of the systemic voter fraud documented across the country, will ever be prosecuted due to deep state agents still in power at the Justice Department.

Riordan’s two main excuses for not prosecuting these crimes herself are obviously lies. She has told attorneys that she lacks data analysts and doesn’t have “a data guy” to review election data for irregularities and systemic fraud, and that loopholes in current law prevent her from investigating voter fraud anyway.

This is the reason, she says, why she cannot prosecute the obvious systemic voter fraud documented in states like Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan.

Riordan complains that she has “no data people” that she has access to, so she can’t effectively investigate election fraud from 2020 or 2024.

Lamenting what she said was the lack of “a data guy” she says she can’t review the assembled evidence of voting irregularities. Riordan, the ‘top dog’ in the Department of Justice, cannot investigate voter fraud because she cannot meaningfully review the election data which might reveal where the fraud occurred.

Bill Bruch, who publishes a popular Substack on election integrity efforts in Washington State, “All Things Politics,” told the Gateway Pundit in response: “It’s concerning to hear that the Department of Justice doesn’t have a ‘data guy’ especially when I have five great ones, and IT specialists focused on election integrity whom I have worked with for years, that I could refer to them if DOJ asked. There are a lot of great expert people doing this work as volunteers, with solid resumes and credentials. I just can’t imagine that the nation’s central law enforcement agency can’t figure this out. Washington State was one of the first to use vote-by-mail, so we have seen the many methods they have used to cheat elections.”

Luckily for Riordan though, the Gateway Pundit has done her work for her, and can point her to the many data analysts nationwide who could assist her in this effort.

In fact, most of the data analysis has already been done. She doesn’t even need her own ‘data guy.’

The Gateway Pundit has years worth of archives that she could peruse that could give her the legal ‘reasonable grounds’ to open an investigation. The ‘reasonable grounds’ standard is the most common threshold for opening civil investigations, lower than “probable cause” which is the criminal standard, and similar to a “credible allegation” or “factual basis” suggesting a legal violation.

The Gateway Pundit also conducted an interview alongside another group in the fall of 2024 with Tom Davis, a retired Michigan data analyst who wrote a report on data irregularities in the 2020 election along with John Droz. The review of this data shows impossible irregularities in absentee ballot data where there is a correlation between the percentage of the vote that Republican and Democrat candidates receive from absentee ballots, by precinct.

John Droz also wrote data reports along with many other ‘data guys’ of which Tom Davis was one, after the 2020 elections looking into voting irregularities in swing states. His reports have never been challenged.

Riordan also claims that the Help American Vote Act (“HAVA”) of 2002 is essentially without any effective enforcement sections, rendering her impotent to bring cases about voter fraud. She claims that her only power to enforce the law rests in Title three of the act.

"Modern-Day Monopoly": GOP Senator Sounds Alarm On Mega Corporations Hijacking US' Beef Supply

by Tyler Durden Wednesday, Jun 25, 2025

Republican Senator Josh Hawley slammed the stranglehold four mega-corporations—two of them foreign-owned—have over America's beef processing industry, calling it a "modern-day monopoly."

Hawley, speaking Monday at the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights, warned about the cartel-like grip that mega-corps such as JBS, Tyson Foods, Cargill, and National Beef have on the nation's beef supply chain.

"Four companies currently control over 80% of beef processing in this country and very similarly high shares of poultry and pork. In Missouri, just in the last year, we have had two poultry plants closed by the dominant. Poultry processor Tyson Food canceling contracts with farmers putting hundreds of people out of work across my state really acting with total impunity why … because they can because they they are essentially a monopolist," Hawley said.

Hawley asked Federal Trade Commissioner Mark Meador: "Is this kind of thing [beef monopoly] that the FTC can take action on?"

Meador responded, "Yes, with the small caveat that the Department of Justice typically handles the packers but the FTC sees this at the retail level as well. When there are a smaller number of packers, retailers pay higher prices, and then consumers pay higher prices, and then retailers want to merge and consolidate their own part of the supply chain to counteract that, and then it's sort of an arms race to see who can get the biggest, the fastest."

Hawley noted, "I'll end with this right now beef processing is just one example but it's a perfect example for a state like mine the only people who win are the monopolists - you know if you're a cattle rancher you're not getting paid for your product - if you are a consumer at the grocery store you're paying an arm and a leg for some hamburger - yet so the consumers are paying more the farmers are getting paid less who is making out like a bandit here? It's the monopolists, it's the four companies that control 80% of beef processing, that is not competition. We need more competition in this country, economy-wide."

On X, Hawley called for "more industry competition in America."

Hawley is right. And here at ZeroHedge, we've been at the forefront of sounding the alarm on America's imploding food sovereignty. With two of the Big Four beef processors—JBS and National Beef—foreign-owned, it's only a matter of time before Washington wakes up to the national security threat that poses.

The answer? A grassroots revival of regional microprocessors—a decentralized, community-driven push to take back control of the food supply chain from globalist monopolists and put it where it belongs: in the hands of ranchers nationwide.

A network of smaller processors adds redundancy, preventing catastrophic bottlenecks, such as what we saw during the early days of the Covid pandemic. When one large meat plant goes offline, the entire national supply chain is thrown into chaos.

Regional processors would provide alternative outlets for ranchers and farmers to sell cattle at higher prices, helping to revive rural economies and preserve family farms. The move to support local ranchers will only gain momentum under the MAHA movement. Know your rancher.

UN report calls on countries to ban ‘gender transitions’ for children

by Ray Hilbrich Thu Jun 26, 2025

The report associates the legal 'erasure of sex' with increased vulnerability to exploitation, particularly in the context of 'gender transitions' among children.

A report presented on June 25 by the United Nations’ special rapporteur on violence against women warns of emerging forms of sex-based violence, including medical procedures related to “gender transitions” in minors.

“Allowing children access to such procedures not only violates their right to safety, security and freedom from violence, but also disregards their human right to the highest standards of health and goes against their best interests,” the report says.

Titled “Sex-based violence against women and girls: new frontiers and emerging issues,” the report acknowledges the “concerted international push to delink the definition of men and women from their biological sex,” which then essentially erases the legal definition of a woman.

According to the report, redefining legal categories of “man” and “woman” apart from biological sex may result in the erasure of women’s legal identity and protections.

“The erasure of sex as a distinct vector of analysis within law and policy obscures the unique vulnerabilities of females, increasing the risk of exploitation,” the report says.

The report associates this erasure with increased vulnerability to exploitation, particularly in the context of medical “transitions” among children.

It also states that the “long-lasting and harmful consequences of social and medical transitioning of children, including girls, are being increasingly documented.”

Giorgio Mazzoli, director of UN advocacy at the Christian legal group ADF International, expressed his gratitude that the UN had recognized how the “erosion of legal clarity on sex” has led to the exploitation of young girls.

“The report underscores how the erosion of legal clarity around sex, an objective and immutable biological reality, has had devastating implications for the dignity, safety and rights of women and girls,” Mazzoli said.

The UN report also expounds on some of the specific risks associated with “gender reassignment” surgeries, noting “persistence or intensification of psychological distress; persistence of body dissatisfaction; infertility, early onset of the menopause and an increase in the risk of osteoporosis; sexual dysfunction; and loss of the ability to breastfeed in cases of breast mastectomy (to mention a few).”

The report comes amid an international campaign to condemn gender ideology as harmful, a stance recently highlighted in the Supreme Court case United States of America v. Skrmetti.

In this case, the court ruled in favor of Tennessee’s law, which protects minors from undergoing “gender transitions,” including surgeries, puberty blockers, or cross-sex hormone drugs.

The case also points out the number of countries that have already placed restrictive measures on these types of “transitions” based on their overwhelming danger to children, especially girls. Some of those countries include Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Hungary, and Slovakia.
