Mystery drone crashes in Iran

Iranian authorities have discovered the wreckage of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with advanced features, resembling stealth reconnaissance drones used for high-risk surveillance operations.
The drone was located deep inside Iranian territory, raising questions about its origin, purpose, and mission.
According to local reports, the drone—shaped like a flying wing and equipped with a tail-mounted engine—crashed recently, possibly due to electronic warfare interference or a technical malfunction.
Iranian sources suggest the UAV may have been brought down by domestic electronic warfare systems, though no official confirmation has been provided.
The drone’s construction includes low-observable characteristics and an ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) sensor system mounted beneath the fuselage.
The airframe features unusual and asymmetric contours, with extended housings that appear to contain navigation modules, possibly including satellite guidance systems.
Onboard markings include the serial number “8373.” While the drone’s exact identity remains unverified, some Iranian analysts and military commentators speculate that it could be an Israeli Orbiter series reconnaissance platform.
Similar drones have been reportedly used to monitor Iranian air defenses and relay targeting data to Israeli fighter aircraft in past operations, observers said.
However, alternative theories have also emerged. One possibility raised by regional defense watchers is that the UAV may have been operated by Iran itself and was mistakenly shot down during a friendly fire incident.

Bank hostage standoff: Police dangle beverage from drone to lure out man, shoot him

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI — State police used a drone to lure a man out of a Saginaw Township bank during an hours-long hostage standoff on Friday, June 27.
The man took a Mercantile Bank employee hostage inside the building at 5444 State St. around 5:30 p.m., state police reported on X.
The bank is located along one of Saginaw Township’s busiest commercial districts. About a half-mile of State Street — from Center to Wieneke roads — was shut down to traffic by police for several hours.
Spectators watched from a distance as a drone hovered above the area of focus. Police asked spectators to stop filming as the drone lowered toward the area of the bank.
The drone was used to deliver a beverage to the suspect as police negotiated with him, said MSP spokesperson Lt. Kim Vetter said.
“When he exposed himself, the trooper was able to take a shot,” Vetter said.
Spectators heard an explosion at 8:05 p.m., MLive previously reported. Ambulances drove to the area of focus immediately after.
The man was killed, while the hostage was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injures and is in “good” condition, Vetter said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the standoff, including Saginaw Township Police and the Saginaw Police Department.
State police said the incident remains under investigation.

Strange Triangle Light Seen Over Illinois Football Field

We seem to be entering a world where the strange is becoming the new normal. That includes a new unexplained sighting by 3 in Illinois of what appeared to be a strange triangle light over a small town football field.
When it comes to strange sky sights, the National UFO Reporting Center is one of the most reputable places where odd encounters are shared. The newest UAP report from Illinois comes from the small town of Johnston City.
It comes from 3 individuals who say that at approximately 9:10pm on the night of June 15, 2025 they saw something extraordinary over the high school football field there.
The 3 say they were in the high school parking lot when at 9:10pm they saw something they could not explain. Here is a snippet of their exact eyewitness testimony:
"All of the sudden we saw this bright light in the sky, appearing to descend down. We were finally able to get a closer look, it was an object that was triangle shaped and had a glowing neon green light around the bottom."
They claim that it zoomed off in front of their eyes and that they were stunned. There are really only two possibilities here. Either these 3 are pranking everyone by trying to come up with a convincing UFO story or they saw something otherworldly.
There is no other reasonable explanation. It's completely believable that 3 high school friends would be hanging out in that parking lot. I did that plenty when I was younger.
Validating what they saw is impossible without photos or video. The truth remains up there somewhere.

Massachusetts Skies: Unravelling the mystery of the falling object

Colleen McCormack, resident of Pembroke, was having a relaxed time in her outdoor hot tub around 9 pm on Wednesday when she observed an unusual sight above her.
“I was in the hot tub, looked up at the sky, and saw something small floating. I thought, ‘What is that?’” Colleen McCormack said in an interview with WHDH-TV. She promptly recorded the scene on her phone.
The footage exposes what appears to be a glowing object descending rapidly. “It looked as though it was on fire or something, and it was just coming down very quickly,” she described in an interview with WFXT-TV. “I have no idea what it could have been.”
Despite the spectacular visuals, the event was notably silent. “It was quiet. You couldn’t hear anything, which only added to my confusion,” McCormack remarked. “Typically, when objects fly overhead, you can hear them.”
The unidentified viral object remains a mystery, as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that there were no reports of debris or incidents involving aircraft in the vicinity and refrained from commenting on the video evidence.
Local police and fire departments also indicated they had received no related calls or sightings.
McCormack, still feeling unsettled by the incident, stated, “My heart was racing because I just looked up and thought, ‘Oh my God, what is about to happen?’”
This UFO sighting in Massachusetts has generated considerable interest online, with various theories ranging from meteor fragments to experimental aircraft.
However, in the absence of official clarification, the nature of the mystery object remains an unresolved mystery.

“Oh, I know Mr. Turner!” Laslo replied to laughter.
“I would refer you to — not to pass the buck — but because it’s specific to SAPs, mostly House Armed Services handles those,” the aide said, before adding this was the first she heard of this AARO v. GOP leadership dispute.
“Maybe they’d have information. I’m not familiar with that specific example.”
When we called HASC numerous times, the phone just rang eternally.
House Speaker Mike Johnson’s team has not returned Ask a Pol UAPs’ request for comment, even as House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer flatly denied blocking the UAP Caucus’ investigation.

The Journal’s first article was loaded with false claims, recycled debunkery, and distortions lifted straight from the Pentagon’s denial playbook.
When those lies were challenged by military veterans, whistleblowers, and researchers - with facts and receipts - the Journal didn’t correct a single word.
Instead, they doubled down with a second piece, this time personally targeting and attempting to discredit the scientists, intelligence officers, and investigators who have devoted their lives to exploring the truth.
At the very heart of the UFO mystery is the long, well documented connection between the unknown craft and nuclear technology, in particular, nuclear weapons. It is likely the most serious, and most unnerving aspect of the larger UFO mystery.
The Journal attempted to haughtily dismiss 80 years of alarming and dangerous intrusions into highly restricted airspaces with a single, demonstrably false, one-size-fits-all explanation.
We confront the lies head-on, with the help of legendary researcher Robert Hastings - author of UFOs and Nukes - who brings over 150 direct government witnesses, testifying UFO interference with U.S. nuclear arsenals, and who was recently contacted by the FBI over the seriousness of his findings.
Also joining the fight is Marik von Rennenkampff, former DoD analyst and opinion writer for The Hill, who exposes the WSJ’s reporting in a meticulous, point by point dismantling of a what appears to be a preposterous effort to reverse engineer the history of UFO intrusions of US nuclear missile installations, a ham-fisted propaganda campaign that mirrors similar efforts emanating from AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) a failed program with even less credibility than its long ago predecessor Project Blue Book.
