The U.S. Census Bureau conducts the U.S. Census every ten years to determine the headcount of the United States. The results of the U.S. Census are used for several purposes, including:
Apportionment (the process of proportionally distributing the 435 seats in the House of Representatives to the 50 states)
Redistricting
Determining the distribution of federal funds to state and local programs.
The Census Bureau sends the decennial Census in the form of a survey that asks questions about the respondent’s date of birth, sex, race, and income.

Critics about including a citizenship question say it affects accuracy, especially among Hispanics. That is likely because they are here illegally.

Another study found that the inclusion of the citizenship question could potentially cause an overall 2.2% drop in Census response rates.

Multiple court cases have established that determining whether a minoritized racial group should hold the majority in a district should be based on the number of citizens of that racial minority, rather than noncitizens.

Not including the question hands the power over apportionment, redistricting, and funding, to Democrats because people who come illegally vote for Democrats who give them the free services they want or require and they support the world’s poor coming into the country illegally.

Industry Minister Melanie Joly said the Canadian government issued an order against Chinese surveillance camera manufacturer Hikvision to close for national security reasons.
"The government has determined that Hikvision Canada Inc's continued operations in Canada would be injurious to Canada's national security," Joly wrote on X.
The U.S. has expressed concerns with Hikvision over its use of equipment from China's Xinjiang region, which is the basis of reports of abuses against the Uyghur population, according to Reuters.
A Hikvision spokesperson said the company "strongly" disagrees with the decision, arguing it "lacks a factual basis, procedural fairness, and transparency."

Treasury sanctions are stopping the flow of dollars to criminals. The cartels, money going to China, the Mexican government, Mexico’s financial departments, money launderers, and corrupt US politicians are getting hit.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, announced sanctions against three Mexican financial organizations that underline the influence of the Mexican cartels and the Mexican government.

The Treasury Department hasn’t provided a single piece of evidence to show that any money laundering was taking place,” she said. “We aren’t going to cover for anyone, there isn’t impunity here. Secretary Scott Bessent has provided all of the evidence. However, this U.S. Treasury action is going to cause a massive disruption to the financial system used by Mexican officials to remain in power.
